  1. You need to post this in the Voice Acting threads for various games. Skyrim Fallout 4 Modders don't come to this section looking for voice actors, if they even come to this section at all. You will also need to set up a soundcloud with samples specific to Elder Scrolls and Fallout so people can match you up to any particular characters in mind.
  2. I think you will find that actually most Youtube channels are created to advertise mods. So what are you talking about...you saw a few mods with some youtube videos on them?
  3. Yes it is. I hate lighting as I have the same problem debugging it all the time. Like in one of my taverns where there is a candle on every table and having a small light over each candle creates a gorgeous atmosphere. Can't do it though, even with the radius set to almost zero and really low brightness, it still had the area in the red zone. I end up with a couple of bulbs lighting the whole area and it does not make a good atmosphere. I frequently back up the mod, 'initially disabled' all the vanilla light bulbs and move them right out of the way. Then try to redo the lighting from scratch, with mixed results. I can definitely relate here. Lighting is my modding nemesis.
  4. I am trying to have an NPC broadly smile (Happy 100) while he sleeps, for a brief video shot. Right now I have him grinning up until he is positioned in bed where his face turns neutral. The weird 'sleep' animation in Skyrim has the NPC get into bed and 'slide' his head along the pillow, as soon as his head stops sliding his face changes to neutral. Here is video of the getting into bed/sleep animation. I have done something similar before where I was able under 'Gameplay' to apply an idle animation not usually listed under Idles in an AI package, so that Idle could be used during that AI package. But as far as I can tell this is not doable with Facial Animations. Anyone got any ideas on how this could possibly be pulled off?
  5. I actually have literally never been rude to one of my mod users and I defy you to come up with where I supposedly have been. I would also suggest you reread my posts as once again you have utterly the wrong end of the stick.
  6. Here we go again, your interpretation of my words twisted to fit what you 'want' me to say and think. Given your 'violent' opposition to anything to do with paid mods you were set on twisting everything said into something offensive, and you continue to do so here. I DO condemn that personal attacks made on mod authors involved, the death threats, the threats of violence, the distribution of those modders personal information and the insults. If you can't handle that, then that is your problem not mine. I do NOT condemn people for not wanting paid mods. They are entitled to their opinion as I am to mine. Firstly I have only ever blocked TWO people. Both from my mods during the paid mods where they posted insults because I was involved. So you are once again wrong. Reread that thread, I was not the one who resorted to personal attacks, that was you. You still can't handle the paid mods can you. Not my problem. You need to stop telling me 'what I think' and 'what I am about' because you are soooo wrong as to be ludicrous. You literally don't know anything about me. The 'rotten attitude' I supposedly presented was simply to disagree with what you believe and what I posted was not even directed at individuals. You came along, saw an opportunity to launch assault against one of the paid modders and went about it. It didn't matter what I said. you were on a mission. Other people who disagree can do so without personally attacking people, you clearly can't. Seems that everyone who disagrees with you is 'wrong' to you. You really need to step back and take a look at yourself and what you are saying here. But it boils down to I don't care what you think about the paid modding. Clearly you really care what I think about it. Oh just stop your utter nonsense! You are being ridiculous. I have had warnings and even a ban, just like everyone else. Wow you are actually literally delusional. You are coming across as a very nasty person, throwing unwarranted insults at anyone who disagrees with you. Saying I am 'hateful' and 'spiteful' and 'demonize' people on a daily basis...proof..provide proof or apologize for your lunatic accusations. That is so pathetic. At least try to debate logically without resorting to childish temper tantrums and throwing insults and accusations.
  7. My being blocked by you (and I undoubtably am one of the 'THREE') stems from you launching personal attack after personal attack at me because I was one of the paid mod authors and you couldn't handle it so felt free to launch an outrageous attack and even delusional attack. Accusing me of thinking and feeling things that had never even occurred to me and you would not listen to any kind of reason. The thread still exists. Zero to do with any of my behavior on my mods. Yes, those that see 'toxic' people everywhere should perhaps look at how they are interacting with others.
  8. Speaking as a mod author who was banned and only allowed back after making an appeal, I really don't see any kind of double standards here. Modders are treated just the same as users and subject to the exact same rules as users.
  9. Actually it takes a LOT of time to go through all the comments and sort out peoples issues, hours of time. I spent literally three hours yesterday sorting out issues for people on two of my mods. I have people with issues on three other mods that I am trying to get to but I just haven't had the time. Meanwhile my other projects were put back and it was midnight when I finally got back to the project I am working on. Considering that people are saying here that if a modder doesn't get to a users post super quick or doesn't reply then they are being rude, a little understanding of the fact that modders have lives outside of mods and that answering questions and sorting out issues takes a lot of time, would go a long way. When paid modding returns there will be more obligation to deliver 'customer service', right now it isn't 'customer service' and modders have zero obligations and can choose to ignore/block rude, demanding users.
  10. This team is pure inspiration! It has obviously been a hard road over the years but you guys have stuck with it. I am really, really hoping for massive success with this! You all so utterly deserve it!
  11. Well if the mod author is in the wrong for not replying to a post after a mere 22 hours then I am in the 'wrong' everyday. If this were a full time job then even then it would be reasonable to allow the author at least a few days to reply. Modders don't hang over mod comment threads all day waiting for someone to comment, they have to attend to a million other things. They try to keep up, but you have to prioritize and quite frankly earning a living and dealing with RL MUST take precedent, mods have to come after. So if users are left waiting I am sorry but I am doing the best I can to deal with RL, multiple mods uploaded and a ton of comments and reported issues on them and so are the other modders. If people are going to get rude then why should I or any other modder waste our valuable time dealing with them when we can help that user over there who is polite and willing to put some effort into resolving the problem themselves by at least describing the problem and giving the modder a place to start looking for the issue. So the mod author probably didn't ignore him, the mod author was probably trying to deal with a dozen other more important issues brought up by users and if the mod author did actually ignore then he/she was utterly justified in passing over the rude and demanding comments that user left.
  12. That is a heck of an assumption to make. There is ZERO indication that paid mods will return for SE.
  13. There is quite a lot that will have to be looked at to make a mod work on Skyrim SE. I have had to make adjustments to all my mods mainly because a lot of modder resources have mesh issues in SE. If people are just re-uploading mods that have not been tested in SE the chances are high that they will have mesh and maybe texture problems. There seems to be far more foliage now, so you will likely need to test out your mod and remove any excess foliage appearing where it shouldn't.
  14. In response to post #43555350. [i'd also like to hear from some of the voice artists, like Anna Castiglioni, and Maggie (who voiced Rigmor).] This, this and this again. There are a lot of voice actors out there that have contributed so much and have really been the difference in making a mod that excels rather then it just being a good mod. Please no more interviews with the 'more well known' modders, the same names over and over gets really, really boring. This community is actually made up of more then 10 modders believe it or not. Can you not expand and focus on other lesser known modders, who actually produce just as good works but never get a chance at the limelight. There are a ton of them out there slogging away producing works of art and never getting recognized. Just in case anyone thinks I am touting myself, no I am not looking for an interview here.
  15. Skyrim modding has definitely slowed down over the past year or so, hopefully it will pick up through Skyrim SE.
  16. You need to follow the DMCA procedure outlined here.
  17. As brilliant as Enderal is, the fact is that Bethesda built Skyrim from the ground up. Enderal was built upon what Bethesda already built so I don't think that it is fair to say, as I so often hear ....'this mod or overhaul etc puts Bethesda to shame and shows Bethesda how it should have been done.'
  18. Hmmm, my most underrated is this one. For an entirely unique, brand new town filled with new voice acting and offering so much content it slips under the radar in every way possible. For a full town mod in comparison to the other available town mods it fails miserably endorsement wise receiving a quarter if that, of the endorsements of other towns. It is never recommended or remembered when people ask for mods that expand specifically this area and it is rated less then tiny house mods or mods that add a bit of decoration to existing towns released after this. Hell it rated abysmally compared to two very slightly comparable mods that crashed peoples friggin games with deleted nav meshes that were released at the same time. Barely anyone even knows that this mod exists. I think it falls into the new town, voice acted niche. As for under rated less known mods I use, I always use this one It is one of those mods that is working in the background, but is taken fore granted in game, Yet it really adds so much to role play. Also really like this one.
  19. Yes it remains true up until you are an adult. Even if you knew your next door neighbour your whole life, while you are a child you address them formally. It would be incredibly rude for Harry to call Mr Weasely 'Arthur' until he is an adult and therefore on equal terms. When it comes to teachers there is a slight difference though, kids who know their teacher often call male teachers just 'sir' and female teachers just 'miss'. Like this.
  20. In Britain it is considered impolite for a child to call an adult by their first name and very disrespectful. At least it was when I was growing up here. The same goes for teachers, you never call your teacher by their first name, no matter if in or out of school. I got quite the shock when I moved to Canada and kids called adults by their first name. Still sounds 'wrong' to me, but then I was brought up with very strict rules and manners in a British snobby 'upper class' family.
  21. Amazon sells them, got mine about one month ago.
