  1. Well considering I am already in way over my head with this, and I don't want something like that in the slightest, and there is already a monstrous looking dragon race (Without wings though) I think I'll stick with my current project. If you really want something like that, you can always try to make it yourself! Though, I know of a mod pretty much exactly like that for Oblivion, so I am sure someone will make it eventually. It's going to take me tons of effort and god knows how much time to just to make a simple new anthromorphic race or two, but I'm doing it because it's what I want in skyrim! I may make a more dragon like argonian, but the thought of trying to make a flying race and flapping wings makes me want to run screaming from it. Just making new meshes is going to be a massive "Dive into the deep end and hope I can swim" type experiment for me. If I could do it myself I would already have done it. Unfortunatelly I have zero knowledge about graphics. Even pictures on my mod's front page are done by someone else. I just do abilities, scripts etc. Yes, there was a mod for Oblivion called Drakes Anthro-Dragon Race WIP pre-beta releases by DrakeTheDragon. The guy has made a winged lizard with animations but no flying ability. Based on that resources BlackStorm999 has made Dragorian and Dranaugh Races. Now this mod contained a flying ability, albeit a very simple one. Thats where I started my worked and created Dragorian and Dranaugh Races Reworked. I havent done any graphical tweaks, but I gave the lizard very sophisticated abilities. But the most important was the ablity to fly and glide or even fall freely. The flight was in horizontal position. It took into consideration gravity and wind. You could for example die while crash landing. There was collision detection. You could even pick an actor and drop it while being high in the air, which was usually for the actor a fatal experience. That has created an extremly unique game experience. I would like to repeat that. I have already created for Skyrim few very sophsticated abilities including a wind and smell. I have iven implemented a thermal column in the Eastmarch. I now need a new monster model to work on it. I know its not an easy thing to do what I ask. DrakeTheDragon has in fact never finished his work. But the work he has done was already very impressive and allowed my mod to be created. Perhaps you could start slowly. For now I am very interested in some kind of monstrious humanoid lizard preferably with sneaking animations. I already have for him some serious stuff, like dynamic night eye, smell&winf, adrenaline surge, 6th sense and above all heat (predator) sense. If you could make the lizard without visible scales I wold create chameleon camouflage ability and posioned claws. Perhaps even a venom spit. Check out my mod: Nature of the beast II. If you have anything like that please let me know. I do admit, it sounds really cool, but I think you are seriously over estimating me. Like I said, I am already in way over my head here without trying to take on something ten times more complex. Just making new ears/tails/feet/heads is going to be a challenge for me, to do this concept justice I would have to build an entire new body from the ground up, intricate animated wings, and god knows what else. I already pretty much have no clue what I am doing, but I'm starting this project because it's what I really want to see done, I feel like a 'dessert fox' type race is the only thing my skyrim experience is missing. I am very much a newbie to modding, I'd love for any help you could offer on my mod, and I'd be willing to offer any help I can for your mod, but nothing you are asking of me is really remotely in the realm of what I can do. My mod which is simple in comparison to what you are asking, is still technically beyond my abilities, but I want it so bad I'm willing to learn how to do it just to see it in the game. Maybe somewhere way down the line if I learn how to use blender and such good for my mod I can help you with yours. I am a perfectionist and very meticulous, so I'm sure if I learned HOW to do those things I could at least do something with it, but for the time being I'm going to focus on the much much simpler mod that I actually want to see in my game. :P Maybe if it was a lot simpler I could try and include it in this mod (since I intend to have a lot to races to pick from) but I just can't take on something that's going to be more complex then the 4 or 5 other races I want to make combined. I would LOVE to have this mod included in mine, don't get me wrong, I just have no clue whatsoever how to even start on it, and I don't want to take on a project that's going to make the project I set out to do impossible to complete in a timely fashion. And what about a monstrous lizard without wings? Could you do it?

  3. Personally I would like to propose something more unique and challanging: some monstrious humanoid reptilian with wings and flying animations. Im looking for something like that very much.
  4. I would like to propose to you something new. Have you ever considered giving the animals or even yourself the smell sense? If you are interested try my mod Nature of the beast II
  5. You should try my mod nature of the beast II. It allows you to give commands to followers in real time. Its compatible with the above UFO.
  6. Thanks! I know RegisterForAnimationEvent, the problem are the strings, I will give them a try! Yaeh I know that but its excactly about sneking you see. The werewolves sadly dont have the sneak mod so I want at last to silent their moves when they are not running.
  7. How can I register for sprint and run animations of werewolf and how can I detect when the werewolf no longer runs/sprints? Thank you in advance.
  8. @DrakeTheDragon Thanks, I will give it a try. I can replace one actor with activator I think but I wont replace the other one since it casts a cloak spell. I dont think activators can cast a cloak spell. @RGMage2 Nice idea, perhaps I will use it, but it can be done only on one actor since the other actor casts spells that have a purpose to detect surface between it and the targets (rain&roof detection). @everyone I think I will use a combination of Actor.EnableAI(0) and TranslateTo which I have heard is faster.
  9. How to make an invisible actor float in the air? The actor casts some spells and is moved to other place every second. Unfortunatelly before its moved it sometimes falls to the ground and makes noise. I want to fix that. Thanks in advance.
  10. @KatonRyu Not a problem. Im very busy lately as well. @Korodic Yeah, I use skeletons from PsiKotics Necromancy Mod and sometimes I order them to kill some random villager or traveler while slowly riding my horse to the sunset. Just to entertain myself a little bit. While playing as a necromancer I usually refrain from manual work. Although I admit that from time to time I use the dagger to save some of "those little emotions".
  11. Not a problem. A small request if you dont mind. Im looking for a mod like the one you are planning. If you give them packages via quest alias, could you set the quest priority to no more than 80? This way I will be able to overwrite your packages with mine. I suspect I will still require some kind of cooperation from you to detect them, but once detected by my spell it should turn them into my minions in no time. Could you let me know once your mod is finished? As a side note. Perhaps you will reach a conclusion that there is no point in repeating my (very tedious) work. We can cooperate. You can make the exchange of the actors and I can do the rest. Try my mod to test my minion system. If you are interested please let me know. Im looking for mods like yours that add creatures the player should control. I would really like to control the raised corpses. Now I cant. I would do it myself, but my mod isnt strictly a necromancer mod. The minion system was originally just an (oversized) byproduct of an alpha werewolf's feral pack (it can howl and in this way "befriend" met wolves/werewolves). Simply at some point I have reached the conclusion I can control almost everyone.
  12. @kryptopyr @KatonRyu I am VERY INTERESTED in the subject. Well, I tried to control reanimated corpses via quest aliases and packages. Its not working. I think and some other persons believe it as well that the reanimated corpse package is hidden somewhere in the Skyrim engine. I cant turn it off or overwrite it and belive me I can overwrite packages of any other actor. In my mod Nature of the beast II I have implemented something I call the Minion system which allows you to control any follower/follower dog/hireling/summoned creature. I call them minions. Up to 25 minions are supported. You can give them simple commands like wait, follow, wait there and forward or attack chosen actors. There are much more options. Mounted followers are supported (but another mod is required). I can make a minion out of any actor even neutral/hostile (my alpha werewolf can gather a pack out of nearby wolves/werewolves) BUT I CANT CONTROL RAISED CORPSES. I also tried changing factions/removing them from all factions. Its not working as well. The only way I think to bypass it is to exchange the reanimated corpse with a clone with shader. Alternativally you can turn off their AI to literally stop them. If you have any other idea please let me know.
  13. Sorry, try this: Nature of the beast II.
  14. I shared with you your pain once. That is why I have created this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20721. It will empower you in a very realistic way. You will gain strength every 5 levels but your true strength lies in your beastial lesser powers as well as in the ability to gather and command a feral pack out of wolves/werewolves phisically existing in Skyrim. In addition you can sleep/eat and drink in the werewolf form. Have a good fun! Remember to read the readme at least once. Otherwise you can miss a lot. The mod is quite unique.
  15. There are many werewolf mods on the Nexus but most of them simply tweak the stats/damage etc. There are also some mods that change the look of werewolves like this one: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9400. However there are some mods that stand out of the crowd. 1) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13779 - gives you new creepy sounds of werewolf - I recommend it 2) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12687 (TOL) - the most popular - implements in the Skyrim the disease, it means it gives you forcefull transformations, werewolf NPCs that transform at night into beasts and that can infect you and some nice transformation animations 3) my mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20721 - Nature of the beast II - a very unique mod. Gives you automatic and dynamic night eye that progressivelly increases and decreases the night eye effect depending on amount of light on the player, gives you and some actors a realistic smell that depends on the strength and direction of the wind, adrenaline surge that tempararily boosts your stats and jump at the expense of stamina and 6th sense (danger awarness ability that trigger adrenaline surge whenever you are about to get hit either in melee or from distance). In addition it allows you to tranform into an alpha werewolf. Consider it not a curse but a druidic shapeshift ability that you can use whenever you want. It allows you to stay in the beast form as long as you want, to eat in the beast form (IMCN compatibility), to drink in the beast form and even to sleep in the beast form. What is more you can befriend wolves/werewolves you meet and give them commands (like wait, wait there, follow, forward and attack pointed actor). And ofcourse it makes you stronger the higher level you are. However its not compatible with TOL.
  16. "Oh, and I like realism mods, and I almost always play as a Khajiit." Why dont you try my mod Nature of the beast II? It suits khajiits well and is all about enhancing the beatial abilities in realistic way.
  17. Well, my mod makes he game more realistic. That means it makes certain aspects of the game more simple while other aspects more difficult. For example the beast senses and abilities give you a great advantage. So does the minion system that allows you to command the followers/summons. In fact it allows you not to fight anymore. But the wind and the smell system makes the wilds much more difficult. You can be sensed both by the predators and preys from a far. And this ussually spells troubles. You should constantly be aware of the direction of the wind. The heat vision in the next version of my mod makes your life easier but it can mislead you. If an actor has just emerged from water it wont be highlighted. The same is when its raining.
  18. I really don't have time to do animations. It's a very tedious process, but I'm looking at the Vampire Lord's skeleton to see if I can do a quick re-mapping to human skeleton atm. Frankly I wonder if you could do a flying monstrious reptilian humanoid. I guess VL skeleton could be a good start. Im the author of Nature of the beast II mod. We could team up. You would do the beast and the animations and I would give the beast the abilities from my mod + I would do the realistic flight. I did something like this in Oblivion - Dragorian and Dranaugh Races Reworked mod.
  19. @hex_ratt Could you make flying and gliding animations for winged humanoid?
  20. How to detect whether a player or any actor is not under a roof? I tried to place an actor far above the player and check whether the actor has a LOS on the player. It sometimes works but mostly not. Any idea?
  21. Im not sure if you are aware of the scope of the work. Such project would be MONUMENTAL. I doubt it will ever be achived and even so it will take years of hard work. There is a small chance though. Oblivion had at least 2 mods that added 2 additional provinces. The mod about Elsywere was particularily impressive. The most fun part was that you could get there on foot or in make case via flight (my winged hybrid used to fly along the shore line of the provinces, that was beautifull).
  22. And what exactly will distinguish your mod from other magic mods? Could you explain that? Also are you talking about Phenderix Ultimate Magic System, your last mod I presume or do you have something different in your mind?
  23. And another example of shameless self promotion: Nature of the beast II. You can smell your prey or be smelled (the last option will be fixed in the next update). For example the wind blows from north, you can sense the prey north of you, but you can be smelled by the prey south of you. In addition you can transform into alpha werewolf and hunt with a fellow pack of wolves/werewolves you befriended. You can even order them to attack a specific target for you. Of course the same is for your followers, you can control the same way. You can live in the beast form as long as you want or even eat, drink and sleep in the form. In short you can become not just the hunter but the top predator of Skyrim.
  24. Try my mod Nature of the beast II. It allows you to befriend and command any wolf/werwolf you meet. They will follow you indefinetelly. Up to 25 units supported.
  25. Well, you can use my mod with followers/hirelings as well even mounted.
