LeelooMinai
Perhaps instead of thinking like small children and assuming everything shared with them is theirs to keep now, people should understand that modders are sharing their work, not giving it away.If you're given something, you own it, and should be rightfully miffed if the person who gave it to you then takes it back. But users don't own mods, they're using what has been shared with them by people who put in a lot of work making what's being shared. And as with anything else being shared, if the owner decides sharing time is over, it's their right to put away what was shared without those it was shared with throwing tantrums and calling names.THIS !!!! KamariBVB
Riggghhhtttt.....so the owners of the Dr. Seuss books were not allowed by your definition to pull the books they did? Because 'Don't ever give if you ever plan to take it away.' Pfff. Guess what? I never planned to take them away from this platform. It was kinda forced on me. Also, my mods are available. Just not here. All ya wanna do is argue.I think it's become quite obvious Brabbit believes Nexus to be the only modding site on the entire internet, because it's clear they think if it's not here, it's been taken away from the world. This is the kind of dangerous monopolistic thinking that's led us all here to this point. It's too bad Brabbit will never understand that letting one site gain such a monopolistic positions is BAD for the community in the end.Oh for sure. Dictatorships in general prove that point, I would think.

And it's causing more issues for the end user than benefits. But the first big candy is just too good for many to see the rotten fruit that comes next. Yet, here we are. 101 pages in, still trying to understand such a basic concept. Honestly, I'm a little impressed. I shouldn't be, but yet here we are 101 pages, 1000 replies, and a month later and still the concept isn't understood at all. It's rather... fascinating? Frustrating? Either way, it's gotta be an achievement.

Either way, it's gotta be an achievement.ÃÃÂ I am assuming that the reason I got kicked from my first discord server is because I explained the situation like this:Mod authors work hard on mods. The terms of service of Bethesda, who is the creator of the program that is most likely to be used to make Skyrim/Fo mods, guarantees that mod authors will always be the owners of their work, regardless of where it is uploaded. Robin did not help to create the vast majority, if not all, of said mods. Ergo, he does not get to decide for the owners of said mods what the owner does/does not do with the property of said mod author. The end. LeelooMinai
In the end nexus is compared small to other plattforms like twitter, you tube, twitch, therefore nobody pays attention that they revoke the right of real time deletion. Would have one of those other big plattforms pulled such a stunt...it would get more attention and people would riot. Because NOBODY likes that - I wonder - maybe because - it's really not that good. x'D
MarchinBunny
I don't understand how you keep getting confused on what we are talking about. At no point have I mentioned you specifically taking away your mods. I even repeatedly told you I am talking about past events and how some users may feel because of those events. I don't understand how you keep getting confused on what we are talking about. At no point have any of us (but you for some unknown reason) talked about past events and how some users may feel because of those events. This is fun, do you ever get tired of this? I mean, really, there once was some guy who used mods and then he didn't anymore. But then, wouldn't you know, other people used mods. And to make it more interesting, some folks even made mods. Isn't that cool? Because LeelooMinai talked about it ... Did you not read their post? I even quoted exactly what I was responding to. See .. now I am confused ... because it's like you didn't even bother looking at who I was responding to or why the subject was even brought up. But whatever. But you keep going over and over the same points, going in circles, and circles, and circles, and circles. There's no progress being made here. This thread has been going for a month now, and nothing new has truly been said here. At this point I just gotta ask why dude? Also, some friendly advice, when something like this goes on for so long long then: Edited August 2, 2021 by CrashRakashe
