Add delete file(s) for PLUGIN section and plugin parent information?

Could you consider adding an option to delete files from the plugins interface, instead of just from the mods interface?

A lot of mod installers seem to be leaving extraneous files behind, OR mods are installing extra, unnecessary files, OR are so poorly named by the mod author that guessing what primary mod it modifies is difficult, and being able to delete these individual files, especially in the case of conflicts or missing masters.

Another thing I'd like to see is, on the plugins page, when there is a conflict, some kind of messaging telling you WHAT mod file installed the conflicting or missing mastered file. I understand this would probably involve scanning mods on the mods interface and remembering their file contents, possibly in a .txt file thats updated on every deployment?

It's tedious to try and discover which main mod installer or patch mod installer stuck a particular, unneeded/conflicting/missing master file in the plugins section, and being told what mod file its in, and being able to individually delete these files, would be awesome.

Thanks.

there's no reason to delete from the plugin tab. if you purge the mod - everything pertaining to that mod, including the plugin files is removed.

if you add a mod and files are conflicting vortex tells you which mods have a conflict. you also wouldnt get a mod conflict if a master file was missing you'd get another error telling you that a given mod was missing masters.

What game are you talking about?

For the games I have that use the Plugins tab, there's a "mod" column that tells you exactly what mod it comes from. Do you maybe have that column turned off?

Also, disabling the plugin or ghosting it should be a safer alternative anyway.

This is for Vortex for all games, but I mainly use it for Skyrim AE and FO3/FO4.

I will check settings and see if I can find this mod column, but disabling a plugin seems to get it included in my bash patches anyway, so I just want to delete them if possible

That's exactly why you should use the ghost option.
