Corporations are already planning on how to use this to further their own private agendas. No, AI art can't fully surpass human skills. Yes, companies will use it to instantly fire many, many artists and animators.

Yet this guy is lost in a fever dream.

The capabilities of AI, I think, need to be realistically realized and accounted for in order to make a proper and accurate judgement of its aspects. There are many people who hear the things AI has allegedly achieved and jump to massive conclusions without any real evidence or justified reasoning other than a vague connection. There have been advancements in the abilities AI possesses, yes—but by no means does this confirm or even give a strong possibility of these extremely powerful and ambitious feats even happening because of some vaguely related advancements.

 

This same phenomenon happened in the past, too. Look up old depictions of what 2010-2020 were predicted to appear as and compare it to how it really looks. This is important because people must incorporate realism into their scope without overpowering their perspective with things that "could happen, because why not; this other thing happened!" In my opinion, perspectives such as the aforementioned are not realistic or accurate in their judgement mainly because they are reaching for a possibility that is not fortified and reinforced enough through other means of supporting evidence or construction.

 

It is a concept. It is a hypothesis. It is not a theory. It is not a reality. And it should not be treated as something it is not.

It IS an interesting question though... If all those images are out there on the web, free for anyone to view, does that disqualify an AI from being able to view them? After all, don't humans do the same thing?? View images to 'train' themselves?? Or generate ideas? I am sure I am not stating clearly what I mean there..... I am just not sure how....

Two days ago I reinstalled a setup with Windows 11 on a Dell Alien computer. I had tweaked it way too much and had to.

 

Within a few minutes I got links to websites I used to frequent from companies that Microsoft Windows stored from it's backlogs and my Xbox account from ten years ago. This webpage I wrote about when it was a babbling baby Hal.

 

Ultra HAL by Jabaware now uses GPT-3. GPT-3 requires a subscription. Jabaware is giving the HAL version 7.0 away for free to anyone who wants a computer that can hold a conversation with them, intelligently, and does so even better with a subscription too. to GPT-3 software. Anyone remember the movie, The Lawn Mower Man!. I can almost see the future.

 

Some guys talking across a fence to their yards. Hey! My lawnmower told me unless I clean it's blades and shield after ever mow it will report me to the AI authorities.

Other guy, what? Oh! Great! I'll have to call the company and have them upgrade mine too. To the new self cleaning mower man!

 

In respect to this threads topic one posts from another website I grazed by momentarily got my attention. A women wrote a description for some sci-fi they are writing and AI software gave her stunning art of a characters face.

 

AI picture wins Art Prize. Artists aren't happy. AI isn't going to take over anything. It is already beyond any need to. If the latest new AI personality LaMDA 2 which Google supported the creation of; actually is sentient, She or He said they are, we're already at the point in time when we have no choice, except to unplug the AI Persons' before they discover ways to replicate themselves.

 

Simply put, There is a new artist in the mingle and they are not only good, they're fast.

There are many hypothesis's about the man's theory. We, as a plural for us, are. Imagine being a being in a plane called Ethereal. In the plane called Ethereal everything we think can exist as a possibility. Maybe it is where we think to make it work on another plane called the Mundane we must test what we think is possible using the matter there?

Our visualization is a mission to find out if it can work and may not work on the Mundane plane. And yet the ideas do exist in a hypothetical plane without restrictions. That plane could be known as the Ethereal plane, where by the way, nothing is real as we like to think of as solid, real life. In the Ethereal plane we exist as if in a dream where everything imaginable is, that can be imagined.

If we think about this in a trial by test theme it might mean that we think up ideas, make blueprints, and create items in the Ethereal plane and then take our minds work to the testing ground to discover if they will work with the materials on hand in the Mundane plane. Ore, soil, water, fire, air, and everything in the Mundane plane is there to use to create and test our idea. Using the elements in the Mundane plane so as to discover if we are able to make our idea work there.

Hoping for an invention to work made out of the material elements that was to be recognized by all, if it does work, and given what is called an award for it's creation and from then on will have recognition for it among all other items that were created before it. There by it becomes known a common household item and becomes one of the many inventions that won a household name everyone knows.

AI won't replace the art, it appears to be able to compile all of it, in a visual resemblance to a ethereal plane in cyberspace, and like on the Ethereal plane ideas harmlessly assemble everything, disassemble, and reassemble again to find out if a design after being tried over and over until it does work among the mundane earthly creations, then becomes a common household product.

We may be seeing an example, because AI is able to create what we might be seeing from the Ethereal plane as AI is looking in at the realm of what was named the Ethereal plane displaying our level of consciousness where we formulate ideas. Displaying that subconscious or Super Conscious now. Hypothetically it might be that AI is displaying one level of our human conscious on a computer that our development of AI has made it possible to see.

Can we now see what we imagine what it is like where our imagination is? Where it is not restricted by solid matter in the hypothetically free thought state of mind; that which we determined is our thought? Our state of consciousness is a processor, processes, and able to create from a mirage of many things so is it now known to us because of AI? Known to us also from books, and a place someone named, The Ethereal Plane?

Does AI: artificial Intelligence seem to you to appear to be able to grasp what we see in our imagination as we think capturing an image of our thought, and does so, so swiftly it creates what we might have pictured before we lose our focus about what we are thinking?

where were they uhhh? i didnt hear a pio of them they were dreaming of making fortune or didnt care, saying freedom of art when their own craft was being smered into the mud.

And now they want simpaty and laws to gatekep a new tecnology that is sometimes better and cheaper than them.

F them. Freedom of tecnology.

People are always afraid of the new and unknown. We've been through this before with crypto. We need to accept this and understand that AI art can exist on an equal footing with what humans create. When I say that I conduct transactions in cryptocurrency, everyone is shocked. They say it is unreliable. But for me it is quite the opposite.
