If you are having this problem, we need your Vortex log file located at %appdata%\Vortex - both @Nagev and I have tried to replicate this without any success so we need to know exactly what Vortex was doing when the crash occurred.

How did you donwgraded Vortex?

Just download the older version and install it over the current one.  Make sure to turn off the auto-update function in the Vortex settings.

Which one did you installed that stop crashing? Recently they made too many updates...

I haven't had the issue, but it looks like an earlier user only had to go back one version.

I have been trying to download the fallout 4 collection story weatlh and vortext keeps reastarting/crashing. I have never had this problem before and it only started a couple days ago Ive downloaded collections before and the only crashes ive had were from the game not vortext though. If anyone has any ideas Im open to them. I have already nuked vortext fresh install of it as well and restared my computer and updated my computer nothing seems to fix it. Even when ive tried to go to the digonstics page it will crash when I try to look at the diagnostic result

I have this same issue, except it fully downloaded the BG3 mod collection. Now it just constantly crashes and restarts. I'm stuck in bootloop hell.
