Hey @Isguros - the search results should be more accurate now (we let you include punctuation and also return partial query matches). Can you point me to any specific functionality or results that are worse with this update and we'll take a look. Thanks

Wow. How typical of the Nexus Staff to ZERO IN, and only respond to posts where they're actually going to Consider CHANGING something.

While completely IGNORING everything else.

The Quick search interface has been turned to S*** with this new update. PLEASE just revert those changes. JUST REVERT THAT CHANGE, PLEASE.
It's just ONE CHANGE.

I Also really wish, that in EVERY SINGLE one of these feedback/opinion threads, that the person who shows up faithfully in every single thread where people can give their feedback and criticism, would just let people have an opinion and leave criticism without MUCKING UP, every single thread, with their pathetic, and constant Fanboi Defense of The Nexus.
FFS, nobody can have a clean thread around here anymore without that person coming in and mucking up a thread because they're constantly defending and replying to every single comment, as if they're staff members. FFS, let the USERS have a voice for once without having to wade through the Fanboi DEFENSE posts. (You know who you are)

There is no reason for us to go and respond to every single comment. We're monitoring feedback and recording it. As we have said, that doesn't mean we will be responding to every individual who has a subjective opinion about the changes.

Repeating the same point doesn't make it more important, you are being disrespectful to other users who want to give feedback.
You've posted more complaints about other users in this thread than feedback about the changes.
You can either stop aggressively complaining about other users or we'll be forced to remove you from the discussion.

If you play around with CSS and else you can do that even on a simple wiki if you want in a few days to weeks on your own. I would more likely say. The new design is when it comes to details - lazy. But since there are other things which arent net together lazy (which i dont count now) i must say im confused.

Whatever the reason of nexus is, but most new changes, especially in terms of UI management arent an improvement at all measured on quick to navigate and overall clutter and readability which IIRC was and is the total aim and goal of the design swap. At least for me on a desktop. This might be totally different on smartphones.

I like the dark design though, and can accept it and the majority of (little) flaws to say its good overall. But not really an improvement over the old design.

Maybe if they hire some artist capable to work with millions of color and with handfull of ones at a same time? One capable to make colorful GUI while not to look cheesy? In the end all these designers of today just copy one of Windows scheme and nothing else. And with Dark Theme widely used now I feel like I'm attending a funeral when I'm browsing. When looking at their team, all of that bunch there seems only two direct designers (Laurence and Stefan), maybe with help of their content team they can cook something better?

Speaking of mobiles - smartphones aren't the only ones, there are tablets, notebooks... And even with a smartphone you get wide-screen display, just turn it in your hands.

How much access do they have to modify the Invision software?

I'm quite sure there's no need to modify this software to just get actual display resolution and size of the browser window, if it's you were thinking.

I believe that would be the next step in this and account for the work they've put into making the site very smartphone friendly.

For years you can use your smartphone as WiFi hotspot, so beside further monetization I don't see much reason to download mods using extra mobile app if you're using some mod manager (Vortex or another) on your computer already.

I don't like this update, site feels slow, not responsive and sluggish. The site was smooth before, revert.

Hello. After updating the interface, your site began to slow down. Return everything to how it was. With love, yours K.

Sorry to hear that. Can you please be more specific on what feels slow to you? That can mean quite a few different things. Page load times, scrolling, items loading in, etc.
