Tammo_Korsai
Just want to let everyone know that NOD32 is the best anti-virus, it beats Norton any day, it is constanly updated and is affordable, $48 (Canadian) a year, and then 30% off for renewing next year. Norton is so weak that many virus can actually turn it off and ravage a PC unopposed.I use NOD32 and it stops evrey virus every time. I strongly recomend it! Abramul
I use AVG, it's free, and haven't had any problems so far.
Tammo_Korsai
I've heard of AVG, its probaly the best free anti virus, if anyone is having trouble with a virus, I can help.
Switch
I got AVG Free as additional backup when, as you said, a virus managed to shut off Norton completely. Since then I also updated Norton to the 2004 version, which so far, hasn't been shut down by anything. Still, if Norton fails again I'll keep this in mind. ^^ Although I take it NOD32 doesn't act as a firewall as well? Or does it?
Tammo_Korsai
I dont think NOD32 has a firewall feature, but Zone Alarm is a very good firewall, but can be annoying somtimes.
Stampede
I swear by Norton. If you keep up with the payments that is.
ThetaOrionis01
Norton isn't going anywhere near one of my systems... I loathe it with a passion. :angry2: I'm currently using AVG, which updates itself once a day... and seems to be doing a good job
Slaiv
I'll stick with Avast! It's constantly on Virus Bulletin's 100% list, and it's free. Besides, who doesn't want Pirate protection?
Chaosmaker
Srry but I'm sticking with Norton cause Norton is Norton and its easy.
Dark0ne
I never touch Norton. It uses up far too much processing time doing trivial things behind the scenes. AVG Free all the way.
