Oh my god f*** CSS with a hot metal stick up its ass.

This reminded me of a friend of mine who when I play Battlefield with him and he dies or something bad happens he always says things like that.

You should play Battlefield with me then, I'm worse

When I was last in Germany I rented a Porsche Cayman-got overtake by someone who would have been doing 240, easy. Looked and sounded like a Koenigsegg-they have a VERY distinctive engine sound, but I'm not totally sure. Koenigsegg is a Swedish car brand, they make an ultra, ultra high-tech car called the Agera. The Agera's a technological marvel-especialy the engine, which puts out almost tens times the power of an average family car, while still nailing top-notch fuel economy and having a better Co2 rating than a Toyota Camry. Incredible. I know the Zonda's my dream car, but the Agera is a very, very close second-it's a helluva car. A pity it's so expensive-the cost of that near-miracle engine is that the car itself takes six months to make, and costs over two million dollars.

Pic related: Koenigsegg Agera. It's literally the fastest car in the world today, and the second fastest car in history. Every single piece, down to the bolts in chassis, is hand-made and completely unique to the specific Agera it goes into-which is why making one takes about six months. The result is twice as powerful as an Indy car, weighs about the same as one, and is more aerodynamically efficient into the bargain. It's a helluva thing...

Relationships are difficult.

We had a wonderful day and said lovey nice things to eachother since the morning, but when he says "meh" after I asked him how he's doing with his programming assignment and I reply with "I guessed as much :P" because he said that multiple times earlier, then he gets offended and I feel horrible about offending him and now he's "busy" working and doesn't want to talk.

Like

What?

Did I do something wrong or what?

If someone here can see this from a point of view where I did something wrong then tell me, because I don't know if I said stuff the wrong way or not.

meh -.-

@Iv000 The most likely scenario is that he is indeed busy.

@chicky Nope, my win. :tongue:

Let me tell you what happened to me this morning guys. I went to ask a guy in the computer repair shop to sell me a used card, so I can actually use my PC until my replacement comes, I don't have on-board which sucks. And you know what he did? He gave me a Radeon HD 5670 for free because it was taking up space. Nice, eh?

That was good of him, remindw me how I got my furniture a month ago - went shopping for new chairs and sofa, decided to walk past a charity shop which had a 2 sofa 1 chair set which were big and really comfortable and no evidence that they had been used much at all. Went to ask the guy in the shop who said he just wanted rid because he couldn't be bothered taking them back in and said we could have them and if we give him £10 he would deliver. We had to say yes :D

@Ironman I'd say that's a really good find, giving stuff to others is not as common nowadays, everyone just wants to make a pile of money on stuff they throw away. And it reminds me that I need a new sofa, I bit a piece of it off when I was angry.

Also reminds me of something else, so here's a story for you guys...

I don't like charity, too many bad feelings and anger involved, you know. I used to donate my old clothes to Caritas so they would distribute it to those who can't afford it. Feels much better than throw it away, not to mention that for some time I was in the same situation those guys are, so I know how they feel and I know my old stuff could help.

Thing is, a lot of the guys coming in to take the clothes can afford their own, and they usually can afford the latest model of Mercedes too. They take it so they can sell the pieces looking good, then they throw the rest into the nearest dumpster, regardless of the fact that someone else would be happy with the clothes they threw away. That makes me both disgusted and mad, I may be a cold-blooded bastard but I could never be that cold. Sometimes I just hate this world.

So now I give things to people who need it personally, I know a guy working in Caritas so he directs some people my way when they don't have things to give, god knows I always have usable stuff I don't need. What can i say, I have to make up for all the crap I did in my life that haunts me in my dreams, this makes me sleep better at night.[/story]

By the way Ironman, how do you write that £ symbol? I can't find it anywhere on my keyboard, I have $ and € but no £.

He was offended because of the way I worded it, apparently he wanted support and didn't expect that kind of response and now he's depressed.

I seriously think that I'm retarded when it comes to social interaction, I always find a way do something shitty.

Croatian (QWERTZ in general) keyboards don't have the pound sign I think.

QWERTY keyboards can do ALT + 0163 (you hold alt and type this number combination while holding it) to get it.

You can't be cold blooded going to such efforts to help others, you're being too hard on yourself methinks.

shift + 3, but I don't think I have the euro symbol which might be what you have instead? Edited by Ironman5000
