Although some of the underground stuff was pretty dang good for the time. None of that top 40 stuff. The 80's underground, which was underground then, is not now. There was alternative rock in the 80's A friend of mine was a dj back in the early 90's, and he was pretty ahead of his time when it came to bringing out the underground in every genre of music.
