But yeah, I'd rather my mods get to the hotfiles for being good, not because there's a half-naked woman in the images. I mean, I like looking at half-naked women, but it doesn't feel right using them to get endorsements. :laugh:

Hm... Skyrim keeps crashing every few minutes. Not sure what I did wrong, guess it's time to start deactivating things. And the mod section of the sites won't work, nooooo! :tongue:

No kidding. Don't think I've ever had it installed (craptop or not) and played without crashing (or some bizarre issue). Fallout New Vegas runs surprisingly well though, I thought I remembered it crashing more.

Back on Skyrim though, I don't have any mods I haven't had before (and I have very few), I let LOOT sort (and I checked it after), I cleaned the DLC, and all that boring stuff (that we all do over and over and over again). I think I reinstall Skyrim just to torment myself with this process. :laugh:

Kind of want to mess with the Creation Kit since it's been... years since I actually made anything with it. Maybe I'll end up cleaning out my mods and/or reinstall Skyrim just to do that. 25 or 20 FPS is a bit unbearable after having mostly played on my PS4 for the past couple of months (besides Fallout and simplistic indie games).

 

Edit: Probably wasted as much time making characters as I have with getting ready to play the game. :tongue:

I have this setup, and I can happily play for hours without issue :) After optimising all my games I rarely ever ctd apart from from FO3 and to a lesser extent FNV but those games cannot be totally fixed sadly (fingers crossed for FO4 but not holding my breath).

Yeah I believe I've read it before (or at least seen it), anyway, I uninstalled a couple of things I didn't really need, made a bashed patch (probably didn't need one, but hey why the heck not) and BAM! No crashing (er... not yet at least, but I lasted more than five or ten minutes so that's good!). First round of picking out mods to disable too, pretty good guessing on that. :tongue:

Anyone else having weird issues with the sites today? Like that link you posted works, but I can't get to the main Skyrim page. Actually, really weird... skyrim.nexusmods.com isn't working anymore (or any "game".nexusmods.com) but nexusmods.com/skyrim works.

Ive been having issues in the past week but robin posted an fyi news feed on the known issues, seems to be improving on my end
