Deleted54170User
I just played through a companion mod that has narration and another quest mod from TheFourWings in Fallout 3. Ties that Bind. and The Institute Both fully voiced. Ties that bind has an interesting quest for Fallout 3. Nicely done. The gal in Ties that Bind gave a nice performance through the start up. She is a go getter too. She picked up a weapon in the scene, after I cold cocked a guard in the Vault 101 fights she grabbed his weapon off the floor, on our way out of Vault living quarters. After I gave her a few weapons she neatly switched weapons when one ran out of ammo or used the baton. The Institute built up to take an old problem side quest and gave it some story probability. All thanks to TheFourWings giving them a tweak or two this year, that made it workable for my addon mod collection. Did I WIN? I WIN!
BlackRampage
I remember reading about how fantastically great that The Institute mod was. When I finally went to play it however, it proved to be a slightly underwhelming experience after having read all those reviews and the like that lauded it. Not saying it wasn't good, because it was/is a really good quest mod, but just not as great as it was made out to be. And certainly not one of the very best quest mods. Anyway, enough blabbering about a single mod; Did I WIN? Nope. The next poster wins. And as it happens, that's me.
billyro
I've thought up of a cool premise for a quest mod that I may or may not attempt to make some day. It's based in The Elder Scrolls though, so I probably won't be able to do it in Fallout 4. Anyway, it involves becoming an evil badass who controls troops under Mehrunes Dagon's banner, and you get to destroy villages and cities and stuff. Very early concept. :P

billyro
it involves becoming an evil badass Sounds good. After all, who doesn't want to become just like me?   Exactly! I've thought up of a cool premise for a quest mod that I may or may not attempt to make some day. Yeah, I was wondering about how I could do that. I guess if I ever did seriously go ahead with it, I'd have to either create an entirely new city (lots of painful work) or duplicate an existing city into a separate worldspace and just say it's the real thing. Although, I'm not very familiar with object placement and manipulation in the CK/CS so that may prove troublesome. Meh, we'll wait and see. EDIT: Actually, I wrote quite a few notes about my ideas (uploaded .txt document here) if anyone want to see. And yes, I had to include some sexual content... because, well... mature themes are good! Hey... what if I did do this in Fallout 4? Like, still keep it Elder Scrolls, but make it in Fallout 4? That way I could include mature content and no one would bat an eye. Not to mention all the (supposed and arguable) improvements in graphical fidelity, gameplay, character interaction, combat (dismemberment fits well with evil) and other stuff. And to make it seamless, the Vault Dweller could maybe find some device or something that simulates all these Elder Scrolls events! Although, this would require a lot of extra work with models and textures (weapons, armour, architecture, landscape, creatures). But yeah, it's an idea anyway. billyro
S*** yeah, very ambitious. Perhaps too ambitious... far too ambitious. In the scope I've described, it would probably only be possible with a dedicated team, and I doubt that would happen. Oh well, it was fun to brainstorm even if it never gets made. That base-building feature in Fallout 4 could probably assist with the home fort, if implemented right. But who knows how that system will work until we see it for ourselves. :) Edited July 23, 2015 by billyro
