Kissimurra
Is it just me or has the Gaming Source Forums less visiotrs than it used to have? It was a long time ago I frequently visited Gaming Source, and every time I do visit GS there are not that very much topics going on and not very much people online. To be honest Gaming Source is my favourite forum, or atleast it was. I remeber the golden days around februari when I joined these forums, it was so much fun and the place really fellt alive! So what has happened to this place? Perhaps it just me but... // Kissimurra
Slaiv
I think a lot of it had to do with MEMod. It brought a lot of traffic to the site. Me? I just don't have enough time anymore. Juggling work, school, etc... is quite hard. I check every day for updates, but don't always have time to post...

loveme4whoiam
I like it. Plus we'll be helping the environment by ridding the world of fishy-stick pollution, the fifth highest cause of global warming and world terrorism. Indeed, this place will explode come release day, I hope the mods are ready for it - "1 aM t3h bet3st 31lt playo0r bcUz 1 iS lVl 4teh5!!one" I'll admit that during my first tenure on here there were more regular posters, but I think that's explained by the fact that MW is a pretty old game now, and people are drifting away. I hope that when Oblivion comes out they'll be a big return of the older guys who really made this place what it is now. Hurray!
Malchik
Actually I think there is a surpisingly large number of people who still check the forums every day but it is true the number of posts is lower for the simple reason (as lm4wia points out) MW is old now, all questions have been asked and answered usually several times. And if you are completely insane like me and one or two others you can always post in the Never Ending Story thread just to keep your hand in while you are waiting fr Oblivion! All newcomers gratefully received but sorry no fishysticks atm - Dark0ne confiscated them all.
Mercbird
I call it the 'year end and silly season lag'. People are crunching numbers before x-mas, or getting trashed on free booze at coporate parties. Witness the Beloved last night, he slept on the couch not because he reeked of booze, but because he's too big for me to pick up and put to bed, but thank god anyway, he was reeking. It was a good opportunity too network for new clients though. Its too late in the year for anyone to feel they can do something effectively, and there is so much to finish before going on holiday... oh but its winter there in the UK innit. Boiling hot summer here by us, sarongs and sandals, and no rain, and africa time. Slooowly. Either way UK seems frozen in and its too hot to do anything here. Less is more! And my christmas sock still has no Oblivion in it.So I wait.Waaaah
Gabbemaster
And if you are completely insane like me and one or two others you can always post in the Never Ending Story thread just to keep your hand in while you are waiting fr Oblivion! Oh yea! NES 4 TEH WIN! I remember how I furst found out about this forum... It was when I searched around cyberspace for new mods to hunt down, when I saw that website, "Memod.co.uk" (Oh yes, I still remember it :*( ) and then I saw the link to these forums... and then I was completely trapped here (You bastards ;))! And yes... it was better before, when you had to read through over 300 pages to updtate yourself when you had been gone for a week... But I am sure, that these times will come again, in the future... Switch
If you thought February was the golden days Kissimurra, you should've seen this place back in mid-year 2003. :D About 3 pages of posts when I first logged on every day. I imagine it'll go back to that more or less once Oblivion comes out, but I could be wrong. Of course, XBox 360 opens the way for slews of ololing 12 year olds to flood the forums, as the XBox did... but oh well. We'll be ready! And it is true that once MEMod died, after the initial "oh noes save teh memod!!111" threads stopped spamming, the amount of people visiting did diminish.
