Deleted54170User
I'm better now. I've been doing the easy tasks I know well so I can get back to readying the book I am engaging in. Skyrim: Special Edition is a story with books which add stories. I have gathered several sets of books from the shelves of old forts and found there are some which are references back to the stories, Morrowind and Oblivion. I've built a library on to the Lakeview Manor where I can shelve them and read them after a day of exploring. Their were many more guilds a person could join in Morrowind. Oblivion appears to have a few guilds to engage the reader/player. Reading a book with words that were descriptive enough to allow our imagination to be able to get an idea of where the authors character was, was the sign of a good story which exercised the ability to use our imagination. A wondrous brain tool imagination.Playing a video game is like having our imagination fully charged and viewing through a window the curtains are drawn all the way out of our sight so we can see the castle on the mountain top far from were we stand, looking over the scenery before we begin our journey to get there. We follow the character the author invented for their story and some of us began to feel that we were apart from the story and wanted to explore like the great explorer in the book. Some people actually do go out and experience the real life experience of being a wondering wanderer, for a time. I hope I don't worry any of your parents by giving you the idea. I did. I left home before my parents realized I had such interests. I got four city blocks before I turned around to get back to the house once. I don't know if Mom was hiding, sneaking along behind me in case I got into trouble, but I know I was on an adventure and she was either very good at staying out of sight or I was too entranced by the excitement I didn't give any heed to the need of having someone watching over my brave self. Enjoy your gaming. Be well. Be aware, and you'll always feel like someone is watching your back from somewhere when you're out exploring this awesome real world. Deleted54170User
From my studies I learned that we can imagine images. The first language course I studied proved to me that we do see them and recall them. Especially during our childhood. The most common suggestion when learning a language I found, was, imagine a picture of what you see every day. Then repeat the words of a new language that describe that image. Associating the words to the image is how our Mothers did it to teach us our very first words, to speak words, and make sense of what other people are saying. After learning about this, while learning a new language, I have read some of my writings and I can see, how my mind arranges my thoughts. :geek: Wow! It is as though I am not speaking the first language I learned. It looks like I learned a second language while I was young enough to and lost touch with the people where I learned the first language, but my mind is so familiar with the original way of arranging thoughts I have confused most people because I write in the way I see my thoughts arranged and that appears not to be in the English US or UK language. I might have been raised by someone, long enough, who spoke what would be a our first language. I know no other way to explain what I see now in my own review of my writings here. It may be that as a child I was very familiar with a first language, long ago, and now I have no recollection of it. I only suppose that if I were reacquainted with the original language by someone whose mind perceives thoughts the way I do and speaks that language, so I remember it, I might be better able to understand others and express myself. I had to read and shift whole sentences around to make the above. Phew! I hope someone understands my meanings better now.
Deleted54170User
Today! During my midday nap, I dreamed I saw my hands making adjustments to a computer. I think they were my hands?! They might have been my character's in a game; since some computer games show our characters hands and arms. Because of that dream I was reminded that I recently re - found a mod called, The Joy of Perspective. It lets us see our characters front all the way down to the feet. Instead of like this little emoticon  . I used it in Skyrim GoTY and it made me happy to be able to see my character was dressed in the outfit I knew I had dressed him in. When I moved my characters eyes to look down to pick up something on the ground view ingame it was like magic to see everything I would see if I did look down at my feet, including my shoes. If my character could know the thoughts I had he would have been jumping up and down a few times until the excitement wore off. If I were invisible for many years and discovered one day I wasn't, I would probably jump up and down and holler, "I'm visible! I'm VISIBLE!" The Joy of Perspective made it so, so comforting to think I don't seem like my character is invisible all the time. Nor me! ...When I was playing MORROWIND I used to have dream sleep moments when I thought I was still playing it. Only in my dream sleep moments it looked like my eyes were viewing with my nose so close to the screen I almost seemed to be in the game. I woke up a couple of times with my fingers tapping on the cloth fold of my blanket on my chest to my surprise. I would prefer dreaming about playing the video game I was playing, "Skyrim: SE" even Morrowind when I am napping. I can usually do computer stuff while standing up and asleep with my eyes open so no one knows I am asleep.
Deleted54170User
Update. I skipped having any coffee, and I am even slower and closer to dreaming while awake then I was before. :woot:  Just because I decided to study, a little, I found out that the mod, The Joy of Perspective, has some competition now. I Googled the mod seeking an Skyrim: Special Edition version. So if you're like me, at the moment, in the coffee free fog, just slowly type "The Joy of Perspective for Skyrim: Special Edition" and you'll find yourself, (just like in my midday dream), with plenty of computer stuff to do without getting around to playing a video game. And it might take me another hour of fun; surfing the Internet, before I need another nap. Not having coffee at the moment, and I prefer not to have one in the afternoon or I will be up all night and into the next day using up STEAM Cloud Sync game save services all the while. I hope those who find these links of mine interesting are interested in that kind of mod.
Deleted54170User
Hey! I am still playing Skyrim: Special Edition. I figured out what caused the vanilla version of Skyrim to crash, several times, back in December when I was at level 64. The mods I had downloaded installed from Nexusmods were fine! Vilja was my mead maiden and in a few more months I was going to marry her. One afternoon started up the game where I left off in the day back in Dec 9th 2016. I put the mouse arrow over the last Save I made. I could see her in the Save window sitting the chair outside the bedroom in her lovely blue dress. She had nice warm look on her face. She had something in her right hand. I figured today was the day. I felt a desire to make it so. There she was. I clicked on the Save. When the page loaded she was GONE! All my previous HouseCarls when in a battle died one after another until I decided to invite Vilja into my life. She was almost invincible. Oh! That's correct she was Essential! I knew I would not lose her in a mere battle with a Dragon. She WAS GONE! So were almost all the MODs I had installed for the vanilla version for Skyrim. AACK! I looked in my Skyrim Data folder. They were GONE! All of the mods that I had worked so hard with. The Complete this and the complete that, the smelting of Dwemer metals, and many more. GONE! SKYRIM kept crashing. I did not even get the message that a bunch of mods were missing before it CTD'ed. OVER AND OVER I tried and tried. The ISP I had, had a limit on how much I could download and upload in DATA in GBs. I knew how much work and time that it all took. I was totally down troddened and seeking a Viking way to express myself. I could not find any way to get to the people who were messing with the game and Skyrim: Special Edition appeared in the list while I was blubbering into my mug full of imitation mead. I know what you're thinking right about now... I couldn't find any REAL MEAD. :verymad: After almost a Month I was devastated and ate some bug that I accidentally inhaled while I was wailing at the ceiling. Nothing could of prepared me for the grossness of that moment. REALITY SANK IN! I had just swallowed a poisonous spider. One that humans can get sick and die from their bite. I could not focus on the fantasy world anymore. I had to get a grip on my life. I had to go to the real live medical center and seek attention. How did I know it was a poisonous spider; you ask. I started getting sick to my stomach it came up. The little tiny bug was in some white goo that had begun to form in my belly. I took out my bug magnifier and looked at it. Gagging all the while. It was a Hermit Spider. A baby one, but it was a HERMIT SPIDER! I did not know what to do. I typed information into the web address search engine and a few moments later I saw it. The exact same spider only two hundred times bigger than the little microscope attachment for my phone showed me. I was still gagging. Through water filled eyes tearing up and running down my face I finally managed to read about it's deadly poison. I remembered the news cast that I heard about them when the local station was broadcasting a health moment to warn people about these little MONSTERS. I survived. I still was not happy. Days and weeks went by and I wondered, "What's the worst that could happen?" It happened. The whole world of my fantasy life was tripped up and gone from my mind. I could not remember the last quest I did. My fun and escapism was done GONE forever. Even so I started over with Skyrim. Piecing together the Data filled mods I had saved in an old folder I forgot I had. WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE I felt I got when I saw that the mods including Vlija were there. Still with their 7zip jeans on... :D I restored all the mods to the folder on my Windows 7 64 Bit Pro OS. I opened up the 1999 save where she sat there with a warm glow on her face in the Save window. There she was. Standing up like a doll. Arm unmoving, lips unmoving, body unmoving, and when I typed the F key to see my character he was just like her. A doll. He glided across the way with the floor above his feet all the way up to the middle of his calf muscles. Waaaaa! Ha haaaaaa! I wanted to kill who ever it was that made that hard work I did worthless. I was down hearted to the point of misery's worst nightmare. I had a nightmare that night during my sleep too. But that's another story and if you want to read that one you're going to have to wait until I finish this one. I couldn't bare it anymore. I had to find a way to get out of my slump. I was dying from boredom playing Skyrim: Special Edition. I got a quest to get a barrow dug out and cleared. I found out when it was done I had missed out on an important quest I needed. Which explained why I had not been able to get all the functions of the DLC Dragon Born. I knew that, that guy was stealing my septims all along because the message for the one after I paid 5000 to him seemed delayed indefinitely. I mean I did all the quest at Solthiem that were required to beat Miraak. So, when I got the message this time while playing in Skyrim: Special Edition I realized what else had happened during the time I SUSPECT that Skyrim: S E was downloading in the background, unseen, because I just set the controls to allow it, and about that time all the DLC's loaded, with the little CTDs I could recover from, at first, I just did not know the new Skyrim: SE was taking over. Muuwah ha ha haa Haaa! I was sick with despair. I felt life had tricked me. This afternoon I was feeling sort of ok about the game again. I decided to try to find out what my real name would be in Norse, Viking, tongue. I found a link. https://www.thequarter.org/Media/VikingName.php. I just wanted to see and hear what my name would look like and sound like in the Icelandic tongue you see. I was feeling like a poor little newborn wolf puppy. Like a delta male. Like a little flower. I clicked the link. And because my phones screen only showed me a single line image all I saw was a space to type my name. Duh, duh duh, duh, do, do do, do. I could not see past the letter board. I got so I felt like a worn out puddle about to dry up. I thought, "Why is everything getting so HARD?!" I turned off the keyboard after typing in my real name. I saw a question that made no sense to me at all. All I wanted to do was find out what my name looked like in the norse or viking spelling and hear what it sounded like. The line below where I typed my name was not making any sense to my humorless mind. I decided to try to read it again and again. What?! What are you saying? I can't seem to recognize what you are saying.. I did not see a question mark. It was a line. In my misery I could see, "You are a () male () female () Orang-outan" I wanted to shout for the first time in ages at the stupid words. After I managed to pick at it like a cold meal for coming in late I saw that it had a lot of questions which had nothing to do with what I was seeking. I picked at them like a true viking though. And I got back a message that, not only spelled out what my first name woujld look like, it gave me a whole new focus on life. YUP! I haven't laughed so hard in a LONG TIME! Check it out for your' self, but try to put yourself in my frame of mind. So beaten down that if a light breeze brushed my brown I probably would have cried.. Deleted54170User
I was awaken from my sleep right after I sensed a suggestion that my dreaming self and a female nearby eat some food. I knew I was dreaming. For some reason I could not stop it and just wake up. My senses were tuned into the dream so much so, that I recall getting a warm hug from a woman before seeing the food for second time. The second time though was the charm that awakened me. Deleted54170User
Mass Effect: Andromeda is having a similar effect on me that happened when I was playing Morrowind. I got so engrossed in the two games I lost track of time. I ignored the time after dusk until dawn because I became enthralled. I decided i have to quit. I have to quit and go get a new computer which will ready me for the future. These two computers i have can't see a SSD. I have tried everything I could to install a 120 GB SSD on both machines and their BIOS can't be upgraded to recognize them. I have got to get some sleep so I will be well rested to do the search for the future computer with a well rested mind. I don't know what part of the planet you're on so... Nighty, Night! Or Good Morning, or Good Afternoon. Oh! I just looked at the clock. It is April 10th, and 3:00 AM MDT. I'll have to postpone my adventure until I remember to quit playing the game around Midnight. I know! I'll set the computer clocks alarm to give me a ten minute warning tomorrow night. It must be love. People say when we fall in love we act insane, we lose our minds. So it may be that playing the game with the difficulty set at Insanity is making me LOVE Mass Effect: Andromeda. If you value your time, for other real life reasons, BEWARE :ermm: of Mass Effect: Andromeda's difficulty setting, INSANITY.
Deleted54170User
I finally figured out how to get an SSD to work in the Dell XPS 8900 I have been adding improvements to and tweaking. I thought Windows 10 had all the codes to read every kind of drive including SSD's. I found out the set up in the new machines are breaking away from MBR which Windows 10 seems to be having trouble keeping from becoming corrupt and customers lose their minds running System Repair over and over an it doesn't fix it. Sadly.I discovered the growing number of companies, including Dell, are using GPT and when I learned about it I was able to figure out how to get an SSD to work in the machine. Now I am waiting for some software to clean out the HDD so I can get the machine so I can focus my attention on testing it while the HDD isn't being wiped clean and reformatted to use for keeping my collection of written work and pictures safely stored. Without a bad case of MBR corruption to cause me any worry I will be able to spend more time giving attention my artistic work instead of trying to keep my computer from becoming another detriment to my creative mental functions. Saved! Yay!
