Tessera, you have already been warned far too many times. To Stampede and his owners, "Far too many times..?" I have been warned ONCE and ONLY ONCE... and I was not in any way wrong when you issued that very personally-motivated warning. You were... and it was because you disliked what I had to say about one of your favorite mods. Follow your own advice and behave like a mature individual. Also, do a better job of moderating the asinine posts created by children that are all over this website. That way, adults like myself won't feel obligated to correct them ourselves. Oblivion is a game for mature players, but one would hardly believe that after viewing half of the comments in these threads... including some of your own. Your personal dislike for me is showing again and I think it's appalling, especially considering the fact that I have contributed a great deal of help to your members over the past nine months. Always ready to help and give advice, its always a pleasure, for me, to read any topic you've responded too. And I for one would not like to see you dissapear, as you say there are far too many children posting ... well weird topics and comments. I have tried to follow the examples of Switch, Malchick and Stampede in dealing with the young ones, which seemed to me to try and help them grow. Preferably into posters who use actual punctuation. I cannot agree with you on your opinion of Stamp, to me he has always been a very kind man, who has been quick to point out (and he was not alone) when I was about to make (or made) an idiot of myself (Marxist should remember that one) I was posting in blind anger, which in me is never a good thing. He privately mediated in that scrap so well that now I relish and enjoy Marxist male without a father's acerbic sense of humour, and respect his intelligence, having a new view on who is, because of Stampede . Stampede has supported me on a personal level the past two years, sometimes even putting aside his own troubles to lend me an ear, and I can only hope to be able to such a good cyberfriend in return. Tessera I dont want to alienate you with this post but I cannot be silent, Stampede is my friend.I don't know the details of your disagreement and I dont really want to, if Stamp is too harsh remember that he very often has to play bad cop, to us all, something I think can be very hard to do. If you feel Stampede has a personal vendetta against you the procedure is a) request an opinion from any other moderator of your choice b) if you are still unhappy take it up with Dark0ne Posting in this way is a deliberate breach of rules. But let me be generous and say you did not know this. (Not that ignorance of the law is accepted as a valid excuse in the UK.) This forum is open to all comers. Oblivion is NOT a game for 'mature' gamers, many are as young as 11. While maturity is not simply a question of age, it does have a lot to do with experience and as Mercbird has pointed out we try to 'encourage' those lacking in experience so they develop into excellent posters. We are not indulgent to age and treat all breaches of forum rules we see - and those reported to us - impartially. At 26 you could be using your experience to help these 'immature' posters as you help those with game problems. But help is not found by being rude or abusive to them, however foolish you think their posts may be. This forum, and indeed I would think ANY forum, will have its share of posters that annoy you. But the forum is not run exclusively for those whose views are the same as yours or acceptable to you. The simple answer is to ignore the ones you don't like. If you respond with a post that is deliberately insulting you will incur the wrath of the moderators. And by this I mean ALL moderators, not just Stampede. We know you have been very helpful to others and for that I am sure all forum members are grateful but that does not give you special rights and privileges to abuse those who you don't agree with. If you don't breach the rules, you won't have any problems with Stampede, me or any other moderator. Really, the choice is yours, you know. Haven't had to say this in a while; if you don't like it, nothing is keeping you here. These forums are for gamers of all ages, from all backgrounds. I have rules which I expect everyone to follow, not just the young people; throwing an e-penis-esque (that's a word, honest) comment around about your age isn't going to score you any respect around here. If people have problems with moderators they should come to me. No doubt you didn't want to come to me. Doesn't mean you can make a public thread about it though. For my 2 cents, I think you're a very helpful poster Tessera, and it would be a shame to lose you, but at the moment you're just making a nuisance of yourself with all this "higher than thou" posturing and trolling. It has to stop. As Dark0ne says, if you don't like it here, then nothing is keeping you. It would be a shame to lose such a helpful tech support poster, but if you find this forum and its inhabitants so insulting and beneath you as to feel you have to flame and troll and then scream personal vendetta when you get punished, then... Really, Stampede has nothing against you. He just so happens to be the first one on the scene quite often when you're breaking the rules. He places all offending posts you've made to be viewed by myself, the other moderators and Dark0ne. And we agree with him. There is no personal vendetta going on here. (a random moderator suspects Azrune of being a spammer and shoots) (Azrune back typing furiously after narrowly escaping moderator)In any case I never saw Stampede do anything wrong, then again I don't monitor people so what do I know.
