You can't mod the changes in the new beta patch.

Or at least I can't.

 

I tried making changes to require wire to cost 1 again. The change doesn't override the patch... Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing though.

 

Not problem with the beta patch here. Doesn't look like the update which well break most of the existing mods just yet. Did what you did work before the beta patch? I can take a look for you.

Beta Patches don't want you to run mods when you are testing them. That way they don't get extra problems when trying to test out the patch. This is SOP...

 

 

 

Did you try the old trick of making your plugin.txt file READ ONLY so the game can't blank the list when it starts ???

It appears like all future patches attempt to break mod support through the launcher. Which is weird. Why release a game and promote making mods, and then repeatedly disable mod support? We originally thought it was just for Beta testing but obviously those changes continue on into the official release.
