In Fallout3, under "Files" tab, "New Recently", there is no listing for the previous day. There will be the current day (April 16) and the next listing will be for 2 days previous (April 14). I noticed this a few days ago and just got around to letting someone know.

A couple suggestions.

The endorse/tracking/ect buttons are all color coated so we can tell at a glance if a file is endorsed or not. Could you implement a similar color system to giving kudos, too? I know there's the popup text saying Give/Take Away, but I'm typically confident I still need to give someone kudos or I wouldn't be trying in the first place. The text rarely has a chance to pop up before I click.

I know it sounds odd, but could you allow for premium/supporters the option to view your ads? I think a lot of people who donate do so out of a desire to help the site. While being ad free is a kind gesture, if seeing another Dominos ad helps keeps the lights on around here, I certainly don't mind it.

Could you do something about the random but rather frequent error that makes comments appear on top instead in the proper thread (I guess it can be called that) when replying to other comments?

The site (at least the Skyrim part) and forums are hopelessly on their arses. There's not a single hour when either (or both) of those wouldn't stop responding for anywhere from 5 to ~30 seconds. Occasionally it just times out. The performance is pathetic. Are you going to do anything about it? Yes that's a stupid question, but I guess I am not the only one who is losing faith. And that's just the performance. I won't even bother trying to point out certain features are either half broken or feel like 10 years ago.

I understand running something of this size is really difficult, but come on. It's getting ridiculous.

What's the proper procedure to request relocation of a thread?

I have a mod author question I posted in the General Feedback section and is still unanswered, but I now have access to the mod author forums. I don't want to double post, so I'd like it moved there instead, in the hopes someone will answer my question.

I haven't been able to locate the answer via a forum search, and as far as I can tell the "Moderating Team" link at the bottom of the home page doesn't contain any staff I could potentially PM to request a thread relocation. If PMing forum staff is even allowed.

The thread is presently here.

Thank you.

PM'ing a member of staff is not only allowed but also encouraged in many situations.

As for the advised way to achieve a topic move, you simply 'report' your own opening post and state your requests.

We do title changes, folder movements, locking, hiding/deleting, all by the mere click of button, so if you don't go exceptionally over board with requests, feel free to do so whenever you need it.

As for the topic you want to have moved, you didn't exactly state 'where' you want it to be moved to, or it would be there already by now.

However, I think the replies you got so far were spot on and you won't get much else in this regard, even when posted in a different place. And external File Requirements not sticking when you save the changes isn't exactly a problem for 'only' the recognized Mod Author group either, but for 'all' people uploading mods here. I think this location here is as fitting as it can get for this particular topic.

Sadly nobody really knows much about this, not even we. It is a 'known' issue, at least known to me as well, sure, and I believe the dev staff 'should' already be aware of it either.

In cases such as this it never hurts checking the official Bug Tracker for it already being mentioned, and on a whim I at least found this one so far, so they should already know of it. Maybe there are other tickets about this as well even.

Apart from this though one can just wait. They sure have a long list to work down, and likely some points have more priority than others. But I'm sure they'll let everybody know when it's fixed.

Thanks for all the information and providing the tracker link. I followed it and confirmed that I have the same issue.

The thread I was trying to relocate to is the Nexus Feedback thread in the Mod Author section, as that seemed to be the most logical place for it. However, if it's easier to leave it here, then that's fine, also. Especially if it is a known problem and there actually is no fix. I couldn't confirm this during my own search, so thanks again :]

I doubt anyone is reading this, but in case it ever gets revisited:

- The bug with broken threading of comments is getting WORSE AND WORSE.

- Marking forums read is broken, when you come back later stuff is unread again.

- Notifications for new tracked files sometimes don't work.

Why would you think this forum isn't being read? Many of the Staff, including myself, check it (multiple times) daily.

For the "comment threading", are you talking about viewing mod comments in the Forums, or in the Files area? If the latter, try using the "View forum thread" option at the top-right just above the first comment post.

Not sure what you mean about the "mark as read" being broken. Works great for me. What browser are you using?

As for "Notifications" not working, I don't have any info. But see the link to our "Bug Tracker" a couple of posts before yours.

Thanks!
