About corrupted files issue: I re-uploaded my mod files after Dark0ne post and that fixed it for me. Can't say if that will work for everyone, but worth a try if you are a modder and are having the issue.

I'm moving to a college later this summer and I'm wondering how that will affect the multiple accounts on a single ip thing, will I be banned or something?

We care about the account (username+password). It doesn't matter to the Nexus what IP address your computer happens to be using as long as it's a single account.

Hi, I have a question about Nexus site's sentences.

Can I use the sentences of "Credits and distribution permission" of Nexus site, which I can select by the drop-down menu in "Edit Attributes" section of my mod page, for my own "readme" file?

Because I am not a native speaker of English, but I think borrowing Nexus site's sentences is the best way to describe various permissions correctly.

Can I use them? Even in case I put the file outside of Nexus, like STEAM Workshop?

And if it's allowed, should I quote them and write a credit for the sentences to Nexus site?

I want to use them, especially this one, "Asset use permission in mods/files that are being sold

You are not allowed to use assets from this file in any mods/files that are being sold, for money, on Steam Workshop or other platforms".

Those phrases are simply "stock language" and you are certainly welcome to use them in any way you wish, including in other places. :thumbsup:

For some reason, whatever it is, the mods I'm trying to d/l via Nexus won't actually load into the NMM. Help please! I really want to play my Skyrim again!

Could always just unpack the files directly into DATA folder.

Embedding code from Soundcloud.com does not work when posting on the forums. Is this by design or am I doing something wrong?

As a suggestion for the future, would it be possible to make Soundcloud embedding as easy as Youtube?

I'm having an issue accessing the site from my home internet connection, everywhere else is fine. But as of about 2 or 3 weeks ago i have been unable to access the site, And when i e-mail [email protected] i get a mailer daemon bounce back stating:

 

"Technical details of temporary failure:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain nexusmods.com by mx1.krystal.co.uk. [iP of site].

 

The error that the other server returned was:

451 unable to verify user"

 

i am currently accessing the forums from a proxy and as you can see i log in just fine so i know it wasn't wrongfully banned (can't be banned if you never post or comment)

 

If you need anything from me to resolve this issue PM me, I'll check back through the proxy every day or so.
