Hi,

First I wanna say this mod is amazing and it has definitely made Skyrim a lot more exciting! I just have a few quick questions. Is there a walk through of this mod, how do you start the quest An Eye for an Eye, and what is the quest id for the first quest in this mod?

It will be started immediately after you defeat Ancano. Play the College of Winterhold questline and you will have that quest in the end. DO NOT start the quest using cheat, it will be of no good to you.

I've never liked Ingvi right from the start. From the first impression, her personality is terrible IMHO. Arrogant, condescending, snide, boastful. So when i had the chance, i killed her. I haven't progressed anything beyond that point though - because i need to ask : is the best ending possible if i kill Ingvi? Because in her dying breath she says "he must be stopped". Can i stop this "he" without Ingvi? - or probably, stealing the power of the Eye of Magnus from her?

I won't spoil that part for you, but Onmund will hate you for killing his sister, and the sentiment will directly affect the whole story's ending.

I try not to make Onmund hate me, but she's among the worst person i've ever met in the game. Based on my impression on her - she will be much worse than Julio and Gaius combined.

Most people i have ever met in life who has been through a lot will tell me that they do not want the others to suffer what they have. If they are bullied, they don't want to bully others. In her case, her parents abandoned her, rejected her, and her neighbours stoned her and Onmund. And she killed them. An eye for an eye is not enough for her, she demanded a life for her eye. One red flag.

She was tasked to kill Julio, but in the end killed the king as well as the corrupt - because she feels like it! Given the power as goddess, many people she deem as unjust or corrupt will die. I don't really know your point of view on religion, nor do i want to discuss it (it's touchy anyway) - so let's just say if God does exist, He will do whatever He can to make sure mankind repent and abandon their wicked ways. Punishment is just one of the means, and killing someone entirely removes the probability of repentance. She lacks compassion. Another red flag.

She lied to Onmund and even before that, Thandril (forgot the name, the archon) because it's convenient for her - because it furthers her goals more. "I know Onmund will allow me to absorb the eye, but i'm not sure about you - so i put you out of the picture." Her loyalty is towards herself and towards achieving her goals. Another red flag.

The Breton nobles will do everything to gain power, but she is even worse. They kill for power, she kill for personal satisfaction.

One of the most determining factor that prevents a person from being a psycopath or villain is self reflection. If she had realized that she is uglier than those breton nobles then maybe she can think that they don't deserve to die. She clearly lacks it. Another red flag and this is a big one.

Her condescending, boastful, arrogant, and spiteful personality that she proudly displays so far shows that she is another supremacist. She is not racist, but she thinks she deserves to be a god. She justifies everything she did because she has divine rights (as supremacist) and she is trying to make the world a better place. In the end, as a deity, she will only make the world a better place - for her alone - not for everyone.

I hope you really do give me a chance to avoid bad ending (that messes up the future of Tamriel).

At that point, as someone who knows nothing about the outcome, with everything i've learned about her so far, and the power to stop her in my hands - i know too well she has to die - she would make a downright terrible goddess.

And if you did make the better endings strictly available only if she lives, i hope you will change it in the future, or at least make her personality and motives more appealing. I applaud your ability to make her such an interesting character, i'm sure you can make her more agreeable. And also, her voice actress is downright amazing.

Thank you for the well thought comment! <3 I appreciate this, you've really paid a lot of attention to the plot. It makes me glad that Ingvi is successfully made into a controversial character as well.

There are multiple endings for the story, all of them have good and bad sides (even the anarchy/chaos ending where both the Empire and the Dominion end). Ingvi's death will mainly impact Onmund's fate, and depending on the faction you choose to side with in the Final Tournament of Nirn, will affect the fate of Tamriel. Every character that you decide to spare or kill will add up to something and in the end define what the next era will be like.

This might be a dumb question but can I take Onmund and Serana with me to Castle Volkihar? Or will I need to download a mod that lets you have more than one follower? I dismissed him when the prompt to meet Serana at the dock was given but I was gonna go to a load before that and see if I can bring him with me.

I believe that Onmund, even tho modified by this mod, is still treated as a normal follower. Thus the only way to have multiple followers at once is through mods. Get yourself UFO, AFT or EFF(my personal choice) but not the three of them at the same time.

You could still test it out without the mod, 'cause Serana is kind-of a special follower, so I'm not sure if the game treats her the same way...

I got EFF, I was able to complete the Dawnguard quest with the both of them. Thanks!

One other thing I want to know, does Onmund have dialogue with vanilla side quests? I know he has dialogue about the Dark Brotherhood quest but I want to know about any others. My main goal is to get the second quest of Shezarrine and I'm trying to advance our relationship in order to do so.

Yes, he will participate in a number of side quests.

You're welcome! You deserved attention and feedback after all the effort you've put into this mod.

I guess Onmund's fate is of the real consequence of Ingvi's death, but that one is yet to be seen. I will try to keep him alive tho!

In any case, i haven't received another quest at this point. Now i'm trying to complete DB questline. I need to ask - to finish the entire Shezarrine quest line and begin the new era, which of among the vanilla quest line i need to complete? (in addition to mage obviously)

Thank you for the mod! Keep up the good work bro! XD

The other quest begins after you finish An Eye For An Eye (with Ingvi alive), since it requires Onmund to be very friendly with you. To befriend him, you don't need to be nice to him, you just need to not go against his moral belief (racism, aristocracy etc, as you may have observed) and talk to him more.

The main plot isn't in the prologue yet, but it will require you to complete the Dark Brotherhood questline by either killing Titus Mede II or destroying the Dark Brotherhood, since the story is based on Titus's eldest surviving son Julius the Butcher becoming Emperor.
