capella6707
I have 245 mods installed for SSE right now, so I know I'm nearing the 255 plugin limit, but I realized that I don't know that I have any way to find out exactly how many plugins are active. On the plugins page in Vortex you can sort by load order which sequentially numbers the mods, but that includes disabled plugins as well, so that's not useful. Am I missing something that will tell me how many active plugins there are, or do I need to submit a feature request?
Tannin42
You can sort by mod index, which counts only the active games. If you can't read hexadecimal numbers (shame on you  ) you can use the windows calculator to convert them to decimal. With 245 mods, the highest mod index value should be F5. You should not go beyond FE (or FD for SSE and Fallout 4 because FE is reserved for esls and FF for the savegame) In the not-so-distant future I will add an option to filter by plugin status. Then you could filter so it only shows the active plugins, then press ctrl+a and the bottom bar would show you how many plugins you have selected (which would be all the active ones). capella6707
Okay - I can do that. Thanks. What about adding an "Active Plugins" count somewhere - similar to the Mods count on the dashboard - as well? The number of active plugins is pretty important for Bethesda games, as you well know, so it'd be nice to just have that information always available at a glance. randalllrrmiller
I still use loot just for that purpose, only.
Kappaccino100
I would definitely like an active plugin count near the bottom right (just my preference), but in the meantime I just do a quick scroll and count how many disabled plugins I have, then subtract that from the last plugin's number in the "load order" column. Works fine in the meantime.
Guest deleted34304850
if you go to your plugins tab and filter on ENABLED you will get a message that looks like this; This table is filtered, showing x/y items, where x will be the number of ENABLED (therefore active) plugins out of the total plugins Vortex knows about for the game it is managing. Here's a picture of what 1ae0bfb8 is talking about: In this case I have 84 enabled plugins out of a total of 86 plugins managed by Vortex. I'm using Vortex 0.17.1. HadToRegister
I tried that, using the ENABLED filter, but it STILL counts the disabled plugins, take a close look at your load order if you have disabled plugins.Mine did this when using the ENABLED FILTER808183848687 etc.

AugustaCalidia
I tried that, using the ENABLED filter, but it STILL counts the disabled plugins, take a close look at your load order if you have disabled plugins. Mine did this when using the ENABLED FILTER 808183848687 etc. When I use the "Enabled" filter, there are two counts shown - the total number of enabled plugins / the total number of plugins whether enabled or disabled. Please help me to understand, Is this a problem, or have I completely misunderstood you?
