H4gr
I was trying to download Fallout: New California, but my shitty internet crashed in about 30% of the download. The progress just read "Failed" and after clicking inspect it said "Server refused the connection"... There was no way for me to resume the download so I tried downloading it again, which just started making new, separte download, next to the 2gb of already downloaded file... Pissed off I just let the thing go again, but now it failed again after almost two hours of downloading, past 50%...Is there any way to just resume the GODS DAMNED DOWNLOAD again without starting from the scratch?(I miss NMM already... first importing from NMM to Vortex does NOTHING and now this...) spazkid
I had the same issue. Download got up to 44% then decided to fail and give me an error message that simply said "gone". So that's fun
Grestorn
No there isn't. And the reason is that Nexus cancels the download session after a while, if its passive (an hour as far as I know) and you cannot resume it once it has been cancelled. So if you see that the download doesn't progress for a couple if minutes, just click on "Pause" and "Resume" right away. Don't wait for an hour. That a download gets stuck is not so uncommon, unfortonately.
H4gr
I did that successfully for the whole time, looked away for FIVE minutes, and it was gone... FML I don't want to start AGAIN... especially 'coz it might fail again...

Use the "Manual Download" button and save the downloaded mod somewhere on your computer. Then drag the mod to the dropzone at the bottom of the mods page and let Vortex copy it to the downloads folder. The mod is now ready to be installed. This procedure does require a few extra mouse clicks, but it will save a lot of time and frustration, given your present difficulties. I hope everything works out OK for you. H4gr
Good idea, but I actually just went and pluged the ethernet cable into my sh*t-of-a-notebook.Now that that's done, anyone has any idea why clicking the "Import from NMM" button does nothing? (import from MO *does* open the tab it's suposed to, but frankly, I don't use MO...)
THEpsycho44
I got a mod organizer, so i DONT have to download them manually!wow, 180 files clicked per hand for nothing...long story: i had to set up my Skyrim SE completely new and wanted all necessary mods back. Thats around 180 files for me. I clicked them through on the Nexus page and queued them up into the Vortex MM. After it managed to download the first two (the second was 1GB, so it took one hour) it stopped downloading and after a few minutes it would give me an error message and marked the following mod as failed. Anyone an idea?
Pickysaurus
There is an expiry time on download links so you may have simply exceeded the limit on your queued downloads.
