Zanderat
More than one person has mentioned that they were having AI issues with Vortex. My game is working, not sure what the difference is. But I saw this and it might be related to the trouble some folks were having:
HadToRegister
Mine says that too, because it is indeed, not "Installed", as it's an extension. It's an extenstion that's Enabled however, and that's what counts.Where it makes a difference is in the Fallout: New Vegas.ini, where people keep screwing it up, because they keep old habits of Disabling and Reenabling it when they install more mods. [Archive]SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txtiRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1iRetainFilenameStringTable=1iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0bInvalidateOlderFiles=1bUseArchives=1SArchiveList=Vortex - BSA Redirection.bsa, Vortex - BSA Redirection.bsa, Fallout - AI!.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa The also forget to change bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 Toggling the Vortex Archive Invalidation removes the highlighted line from the ini, then people come here and complain it doesn't work, and toggling it back on takes some doing, probably shutting down Vortex and reopening it.I know I fought with it to get it back to working after I did the outdated "Toggle Off and On" thing. Zanderat
Only toggled once. I am sure that I can clean it up manually. But I am taking the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach................
