Exporting the full mod list

Hi all,

Is there any way to export the full mod list? I saw instructions about going into the profiles for the loadorder and plugins, but this only works for the mods that have an esp. With NMM I was able to literally select all of the text and paste into excel so that I could get every mod, include mesh and texture items with no plugins. I want to clear out my deployed folder and reinstall my mods from scratch, but I don't want to manually type out over 150 mods. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!

Sounds like a useful function.

I suggest you want a filtered mod list.

In my case, I have about 200 mods, only 90 of which are enabled on any given profile. So I would typically want a list of "Enabled" mods.

Submit a feature request using the upper right three dots. That way it will be tracked.

If you want to clear out your Mod Staging folder, then uninstall your mods through Vortex.

You, wanting a printed out mod list makes it sound like you're planning on deleting the mods OUTSIDE of Vortex, which will cause you problems in the future.

Why are you plagiarizing rmm200's comment? Are you spamming?

whenever i see this behaviour now, i simply report it. it's beyond odd and i am certain that there is some sort of spamming intent behind it.

i've noticed that the posters have a very low post count, no more than 2 or 3 posts once they appear with their bizzarre cut/paste of other posts.

I am hoping someone can figure out a rationale for this behavior. I can not see any financial benefit to anyone.

Unless it is a bot-in-training for next years elections...

It would certainly be interesting to know the country of origin. North Korea? Intent is likely malicious.

Others may be more geared to disinformation.

Playing around with this....

Navigate to the mods staging folder for the game of interest.

Open a cmd window. (in my case it is Shift RMB and open Powershell. Then cmd.)

Enter "dir . /b > mods.txt"

This will give you a text file of mod names. No extraneous information.

It should import directly into a spreadsheet.

When done, remove that file you created mods.txt. Cleanliness is next to godliness.

Worked perfectly, almost. I noticed that if you have multiple versions of a mod (from updates), they all show up. But in reality they are only installed once. See "Asterra Many Fixes" in my list. The "0d" version is the one actually installed.

Don't forget, you can simply click on the Version drop down next to each updated mod, and by clicking on that Screwdriver Symbol (The circle with he Line) you can delete the older versions of the mod.
