HadToRegister
The reason I ask, is I've been updating some mods for SSE, and I converted quite a lot of mods to "Light" ESPfe.Now, I'm updating a few mods, (Done from the MOD tab) and I updated a couple before realizing that I didn't even check to see if they were plugins I had converted to 'light', and overwriting them with their non-light update, which in turn can mess up my Savegame. This of course, means When I download the updated mod, BEFORE I install it, I need to switch to the plugin tab, find the Plugin and make sure it's Light or Not Light(I know it sounds like a chore, but this is a Quality of Life request)If there was a way to put some type of flag on the MOD on the MOD Tab, so when you're updating from the MOD tab, you'll see and know after you install the new update (I tend to uninstall and install the new mod, rather than update) to go into the plugin tab and convert the new esp to 'light'.(Although I just discovered the nifty new "HIGHLIGHT" column which I suppose could be used to add HIGHLIGHTS to each mod that I made their corresponding plugins "light")Still, just a suggestion

HadToRegister
i like this idea. i went hog wild the other night with this new feature and marked a ton of plugins as light, then i realised - oh no ... what have i done? ... and i went back to those mods that are still being updated regularly, and put them back as they were. so i converted those plugins that are pretty much stable, and not updated much (if at all) any more. definitely some sort of flag, or notification, or indication of any sort really to say that this mod has been altered so be careful if/when you download an update. Have you checked out the new HIGHLIGHT column? You can Highlight/Flag Mods. I don't know how long that's been in Vortex, but it might come in handy for something like this
Tannin42
Highlights has actually been around from the start. ;) Regarding the feature: Yeah, it makes sense, the user needs to be notified that the plugin would be loaded in a different index after update. I'm wondering though if a flag in the mod is the best approach. An alternative would be for us to store the plugin list with the profile. Then we can diff the current plugin list with the last time the profile was run.In the case of the espfe being updated it would spit out something like:"xyz.esp (light) was removed. xyz.esp (regular) was added" so it wouldn't be quite as explicit as what you suggested. However it would also potentially catch a lot of other problems, like "these 30 plugins were disabled since you last started this profile, this ok with you?"Also it would still work if you remove the mod and install it fresh instead of updating. We could even go a step further and have a history of plugin lists on a profile which might be useful for finding bugs and reverting unintentional changes. Zanderat
Having the ability to rollback would be fantastic!
