Synopsis

Daniel Holden was imprisoned as a teenager for the rape and murder of his 16-year-old girlfriend, Hanna. After spending 19 years on death row, new DNA evidence vacates his original trial, and he returns to his hometown of Paulie, Georgia. The subsequent adjustments and events in the lives of Daniel, his extended family, and the townfolk are related as a character study in a slowly unfolding Southern Gothic story.

One of the best TV series ever!

The last episode of Walking Dead, which as I write this was the Finale of Season 6...

They let you know that ONE of the group was just beaten to death...buy they will not let you know WHICH ONE until the Season 7 Opening.

Maddening...and awesome.

Same here, and it'll be the last time I ever watch it if I find out that

they've killed off another chump who hasn't contributed much of anything to the group. It has to be one of the original cast members, or it's another fail.

Either way, I find my interest in the show waning, which runs right along my opinion that the sweet spot for tv shows to be between 6-8 (8 being on the edge) seasons. Most shows have already run their course by then, and then few who haven't, have started that slow ugly decline that becomes too painful to watch anymore.

Of course there are always exceptions to that rule, but shows that have the staying power of more than a decade or two are somewhat rare.
