Antioch666
Is that normal? I saw a post reporting the same thing from 2018 by doing a quick google search... isn't it moderately stable now? x) Edit: Could it be pertaining to the release of a new version from the 15th of July? I was able to install the new version inside the old folder where the .exe file suddenly went missing; and things seem to work fine (at the moment)

TheGreatFalro
Unlikely that it deleted itself. Much more likely is an overactive anti-virus or "cleanup" program did.
Pickysaurus
Some anti virus programs may rename it for "security" reasons. See if there's a Vortex.35 or other random file in the install directory
rmm200
Part of the install process for a new version is to delete the old.I can't really tell if that is what you are describing... Apart from that, Vortex is extremely stable. It does not delete itself outside of a new version install.Check back if you see anything else strange. Blackduke747
Yep, my Vortex.exe is missing too. The rest still seems to be present.

csgators
Mine did the same thing, and it wasn't an antivirus. When I closed Vortex, Windows popped up with one of those "Do you want to allow Vortex.exe to make changes..." Like an idiot I said yes, next time I try to use Vortex, it's gone. Reinstall fixes it but it's rather strange.

In Vortex click on the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of any Vortex page. That will direct you to the feedback page.
