"Incompatible plugin

So I have installed a few mods, all seemed to work well, but when I try to start the game it won't start. So I check to see whats wrong to. Only to find that 17/30 of my mod have a little caution symbol under "Flags" and when I hover over it, it says "Incompatible plugin".

- I double clicked on the plugins and in an orange box that says "Revision" it says "This plugin was created for the original Skyrim and may not be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition. This can cause unforeseen problems during gameplay."

But I checked ALL the mods I have and they all say it required SSE and/or Skyrim's DLC.

I don't know what to do or how to fix this. May I have some help?

PS : I may just be dumb but I am really confused.

EDIT : I noticed that only when the plugin has an " Load Archive " Flag with a Warning sign it doesn't start. To also add, not all do this.

You are installing mods for Original Skyrim, but, you have Skyrim SE. While the games are similar, the mods are not automatically compatible.

I know, but when I go to the mods they say it is for Skyrim SE

This would imply that the author/uploader of the mod has not resaved it with the Creation Kit for Special Edition. It is something you can do yourself if you know how. You'll need the Bethesda.net launcher to download/install Creation Kit, once installed open the plugin in question as active and once the load operation finishes simply click save. That's all there is to it.

Thank you, but I am sorry to ask, could you give me a link on how to do it. OR a link to the Creation Kit for SE.

He's told you how to download the Creation Kit, AND he's told you every step needed to convert the Mod, just READ the CYAN part I highlighted.

That's because whoever 'converted' the plugin didn't save it in the SSE Construction Kit, and change it to Form 44, and instead it's still Form 43, which will eventually hose your savegame.

People will say It "works" with Skyrim SE, because they assume people still use NMM, which won't warn you about the problem

How do you fix this? With the creation kit mentioned above?

Read the part written in CYAN, it's already been answered
