Vortex corrupted my Skyrim game

I tried to install the NMM update but windows can't read this file the Microsoft solution states to find an original program that reads a 112 file extension and there isn't any. I tried to place it in overwrites section of my NMM beta 65 to see it THAT would work. nothing happens.

I installed Vortex and EXACTLY like the last time I installed Vortex it corrupted my game. I get from an new game or loading an old one all the females look like upside down triangles with a white vertical band in the center with a girl's head, all the men have bright purple faces and the new games 'end' with my head being chopped off. It takes 95 hours to reinstall the game from a completely fresh reload to fix the red triangles head chopped off problem.

I do not have a cable so everything goes through a dial up on a phone at 1.2 mbps I live in the country and there won't be cable out here for another 60 years unfortunately I don't think I will live another 60 years.

So after I re-download Skyrim I paid for in 2008 again to fix the problem caused by Vortex, I will need the instructions on where to place the NMM community edition .112 file in my existing NMM to update it so I can download mods and they go where the mods needs to so that they work correctly.

Body slide didn't, Tess edit Didn't, FNIS didn't I had to try different things to get them to load into the area where they used to go in the NMM table up at the top .

Still Body slide cannot find any .nifs and could not load anything until I fiddled with it some to get .nifs it needed for all the sliders. it still does not work it can't find the .nifs for each body type after I press batch build.

Bodyslide outfit studio does not load either it has an openGL error and can't load any body type even If I know where they are! I will need to find a Bodyslide tutorial to be able to figure out how it is designed to install everything to work.

Vortex the last time I loaded it when it first came out in 2013 I think, corrupted my Bodyslide RAR file. and all of the rest of my mods. that was the first time I experienced the red triangles by the way. I have Skyrim on five computers so I don't think it is a computer problem I think it is your Vortex Mod manager. The SAME exact problem happens on all five four are DELL products the last is a Lenovo.

Vortex didn't exist in 2013. Development didn't start until 2016 at the earliest.

Skyrim wasn't released until 2011.

There is no such file extension as .112. Either your browser or your AV has altered the file extension for who knows what reason. You'll need to change that extension to a proper executable extension.

Okay here is a different explaination I installed Vortex.

SOMETHING corrupted my existing game.

I got all the females to be upside down triangles with a red stipe in the center with the character head on top.

I downloaded and installed vortex on three different computers one is a lenovo e1 another is a 2004 dell latitude I use all the time the last one is a dell 2015 Inspirion the lenovo used win 8, the latitude uses win 7 the inspirion uses win 10.

ALL three for SOME reason, (since you all claim it is not Vortex), have exactly the same problem.

I had a working version and tried to download from nexus beta 65.0 my logon did not work so I followed the instructions and downloaded the highlighted link for the community edition of NMM on all three computers with different versions of windows on each one, SOMEHOW on all three computers I got exactly the same problem a .112 file that cannot be read by anything.

Now for some unknown reason I can get other completely different programs to download on each computer through the internet from other places in the world and not have the base program that uses them get altered.

Vortex loaded then changed all the females to upside down triangles after NMM on you link made a .112 file instead, so I downloaded Vortex to compensate, and Vortex was NOT TO BLAME, you claim yet it was the determining factor in each instance.

I was using NMM 65.0 perhaps you could link on the reply a download that will work and NOT become a .112 file so I can add it to my existing mod manager program version Beta 65.0.

I am sorry I got all the dates incorrect, i am pretty sure I said "I think" which in the English language signifies i am unsure as to the exact day and date of when i purchased Skyrim. as you have so expertly pointed out.

I remember buying it at walmart then was put out because I had to download it from the server, instead of install it from disks like i did for Oblivion. which I also paid for that might be why 2008 stands out in my mind, and yes my memory is usually photographic unless I am pissed off then I miss remember things.

Regardless, the Vortex i downloaded and installed is the lastest one whichever that one is I did this last week, lets see perhaps October 23rd 2019 at 2:33 A.M. and 12 seconds to be exact.

Now for the subject of rant, Usually rants are compiosed of vile language and statements of how a person feels about you and your program, I did write none of that; instead I explained the problem because since the game will not run I cannot take screenshots and as well both of you know unless I can read code I can't figure out where in the code the problem is occuring. I do not know C++

I have instead NOT waited the customary five days ( EACH PER LAPTOP) to download the program again as it was it became corrupted in each computer after i loaded vortex, and somehow vortex was not the problem.

Instead i used razor-skyrim bootleg crack to at least have a skyrim even though I bought the program from Bethesda. Otherwise I would not own a CD and a box and have the reciept with faded type i can't read the date off of from the walmart I bought it at in Lebanon Oregon.

Now perhaps instead of you being condesending and NOT giving me a solution perhaps you place a winrar or 7zip of the update i need and this will solve my problem. Whatever is causing the problem cannot corrupt a zipfile unless it comes from MEGA. I use SUPERAntispyware and the entire IOBit line up of cleaners and support programs both are on the latter part of the year I use only 59 mods. 2 weeks ago everything was working fine! and as you can see I have previously before NMM was discontinued support never had a problem until I could not logon to Nexus. Since i bought the program in early 2015. I bought Oblivion in 2008.

It is difficult to write back to you without resorting to a rant because your reply had two factors; a concieted condescending one-up-man-ship superior timber to your reply and no solution.

To RMM200 specifically I cannot get into the game because it won't start instead it kicks back to the steam screen with the list of my games. So there is NO WAY I can think of to force start the game and then trace at which point with a screen shot of exactly the problem! Going to the link provided did not solve my problem, it sidestepped me replying to you, until I decided to write back to restating the problem. When i installed LAN systems for clients I did not have these kinds of problems with other techs that I am having with you two. I stated the problem and was sent a solution. I was not instead instructed to provide extensive information that i cannot provide because the program won't load.

Your Browser or Antivirus renamed the EXE file into a .112

Just rename it back to .exe and it will work

That alone tells me, that Vortex was and is not your problem
