Fact: https://imgur.com/a/C21dxeV

Now I am awaiting your fact.

I'll say it again

People already complain enough to have to create an account here to be able to download.

Imagine them having to create TWO accounts?

One here, AND at Mega

We are not talking about the same here. You don't need an account to download from there. Are you guys for real?

o_O You have used Mega exactly 0 times. Why not try it out before commenting on it.

Actually I think he has. As have I. It's definitely NOT a legitimate means for distributing files and is going to be 10 times more annoying than anything Nexus is currently doing. Every download I've ever seen there has at least a 30 second timer on it unless you pay for premium. No way in hell I'd ever provide them enough information to drain my bank accounts with.

Your "fact" is unverifiable. Like I'm supposed to believe that pixelated mess was you downloading something? Especially when it doesn't jive with what I've seen with my own two eyes? You people are so desperate to cast Nexus as the evil bad guy here but you're bending over backward to shill for one of the most evil internet sites there is?

The slow/fast download page should be removed because it does cause too much pain, especially when same mod needs multiple downloads. It asks the question every single time.

Imagine you are just reinstalling Skyrim for whatever reason and you need to download all mods for also whatever reason. Let's say you have 200 mods like I do. Every mods needs now one extra click and approx. that 5 second additional time.

That alone is already 200 clicks and 1000 seconds or 16,6 minutes. Now, some mods needed more than one download. You need to click "back" link on the page, and then again "slow download" which gave two extra clicks. I have 18 optional files, so that added 36 clicks and lets say, another 10 seconds more time for each additional file (back to previous page+click again slow download). Now we have 236 clicks and 1360 seconds or 22,6 minutes.

22,6 minutes and 236 clicks. That is like giving the finger, especially for those who have had the premium membership.

Also, I'm a supporter. Why do I still see that ad? In two places? Not to mention that I've had the premium membership in the past so I know it exists. I don't need a reminder. I don't want a reminder. F the reminder.

Intern

Unless the non paying members are posting from a free internet access café, I always find it hard to understand how people claim they "can't afford" to pay for a membership, have no problem paying for the internet service that allows the same people to complain how the can't afford a membership.

internet is a necessity in the modern world mate. its required to find a job, its required to keep connected to others, its required for most people to do their jobs.

Internet Access is a justifiable expense,

can confirm that he is correct. mega requires no silly things, and it downloads much faster, for free, than Nexus.

sorry mate. you are lying to yourself and everyone here.
