Archive Invalidation not activating(?)

So, I broke New Vegas awhile back by modding TTW and a patch for New California. Game kept crashing while viewing my character in third person, so I did a clean install. Deleted my game folder, and my Vortex Mods before reinstalling it.

 

SO. Archive invalidation isn't working right now, and I'm not sure why. I've got the button set to "Yes", why it isn't off or on I'll never know, and I'm just left with pink textured Type 3 bodies, and floating red diamonds for my IMPACT install.

 

Is this due to Vortex loading mods incorrectly, even if all the others seem to be working fine, or is it actually an Archive Invalidation error? Please, I need all the help I can get. Thanks.

Red diamonds with a white "!" in them are missing meshes and have nothing to do with archive invalidation.

 

In order for it to work correcting textures, you have to toggle it (turn off/turn on). That is if the game is not installed in Program Files.

 

I would say that Vortex did not install the body mod or IMPACT correctly. I don't use it so what I am going to tell you is just a generalization.

 

Since the type 3 bodies are replacers, just place the mesh of the body of your choice in Data/meshes/characters/_male and the textures in Data/texture/characters/female.

I'm curious which mods you have installed, because I had no end of trouble with one particular character "Overhaul" mod, no matter the patches and instructions, I could never get it to work 100%

Because it's sounding like this isn't a Vortex problem at all, but more of a FONV/FO3 TTW + OLD CALIFORNIA (Which I'm not even sure you can install that with a TTW installation) problem.

I'm currently only running TTW, New California isn't compatible currently since TTW was updated which broke a compatibility patch.
