DoctorKaizeld
If we intend to change stuff how about adding a deploy % bar or something (or if it exists make it more obvious) so I don't have to sit there waiting on a loading circle.
Guest deleted34304850
Alright, well it seems the Vortex veterans all have a similar option. It'd be nice to hear from some less experienced users too. I did have a concept I drew up for making the current deployment state more obvious, but I can't find it right now. Maybe it's something we'll revisit. Mike, this may be veering off topic, and for that, I apologise, but, if you're after feedback from the wider user-base, is there any chance you could create almost a mini-survey that is a temporary part of the Vortex dashboard, to ask a few questions around Vortex? I second this idea, mainly because the only reason we're commenting is because we care. Most people won't bother to participate, and then, they come to these forums to rant about everything has changed AND NOBODY TOLD THEM™, and WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST LEAVE IT LIKE IT WAS™ You know, the same people who don't read Stickies, Description Pages, Changelogs, and SETTINGS menus. Not a bad idea. I didn't feel it worthy of a survey though, as it is mostly just a thought I wanted to explore.

Well, he didn't mean a full-blown Site-Wide survey, but a survey that could possibly show up in VORTEX itself.
Rodocastiza
Don't know if I'm a less experienced user, but I don't have problems with terminology, and I'm not native English speaker. In my case I found Vortex very easy to use even without reading documentation. And I came from NMM.
Pickysaurus
I think "Deploy" is probably fine, but "Purge" has always felt a bit... aggressive?... to me. Perhaps "Deploy" and "Un-deploy" would make it clearer that it's just the reverse of the deploy action.
DoctorKaizeld
I disagree on the grounds that it makes sense in context. Also, the fact that it technically isn't just a reversal.
Pickysaurus
Purge is synonymous to a "mass delete" to me. While you are technically deleting the links, you aren't deleting any files as the term implies. I'm not against keeping the current terms, I'm just fielding my thoughts :)
