  1. The crashing for Zombie apocalypse is common. To really test, you can't load a previous save, you need to start a new game. Try disabling the merge patch and see what happens.
  2. Just as a reminder, you should install the game into your PC hard drive and not on an external source drive like a portable external hard drive. You don't necessary need to install it to C drive can be any other drive as long it is from your PC. Try reinstalling Fallout 3. EDIT: I think you installed Fallout Mod Manager wrongly. You should install it to here: Example- E:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\fomm
  3. XFO mod is considered really old and it hasn't been updated for a long time, even before some of the DLC's came out. I'm also currently using that, but.... not the full version. I also currently own Operation Anchorage only too. Here's what you can do, open back the whole mod package and then use and pick single .esp files instead of the full version. Determine which one of the .esp is causing the lag and just don't use it. EDIT: It is common for lag if you're using overhaul mods like MMM mod and also if your computer isn't up for it. Overhaul mods need extra processing power from your CPU.
  4. Do you own Fallout 3 GOTY Edition or the normal one? Are you sure it is mod related? Please post your system specs and have you tried to test with a new game and your currently selected mods? To really test, disable XFO_full_Preconfig_STANDALONE.esp and then start a new game just to test and see if it lags.

  6. Try reinstalling your overhaul mods. Just re-copy and re-paste the meshes and textures will do. Then apply and toggle archive invalidation.
  7. The background is a little too blur, could use some sharpening and brightness.
  8. Can your game run properly if you uncheck merged patch?
  9. Alright, I'll see what I can do on my next few creations.
  10. Crash on exit is very common. You can't fix that when you have that many mods. Nothing seems to be wrong with your load order but there's a possibility that the problem is in your merge patch. Have you tried starting a new game to test? Do you still get random crashes and walking through enemies and walls?
  11. I've already use stroke and shadow, how do I further improve?
  12. Hey Dir Tek, nice idea creating this thread. All of my GFX are located on another thread (same forum). http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=183408 (Need honest comment and criticism from those who are good with GFX) I will pop by and upload some here once in a while. :) Here's one of my latest work. http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/2663/vector.png
  13. Vanilla game never once showed a message like that after hundreds of my play through. I'm also using EVE but never gotten such message before.
  14. Try to sneak 1) You can actually 2) Fallout 3 CTD's sometimes, it may not be mod related at all. It tends to happen after playing long sessions, your computer is getting a lil' high in temperature or when you're in a shootout where lots of processing memory needed. You don't have many mods running so I'm sure it's not mod related. I do not think they are common CTD. You can try this method to solve common CTD: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7529
  15. You should be able to continue for your second play through if you can during the first. You have all DLC's, you need to have the game patched to 1.7. You will see a message on screen "Broken Steal Loading" followed by "Level Cap Raised to 30" Story continues after completing the main quest. Did that show up when you completed the main quest during your second play through? Please use this as reference: http://forums.gamesforwindows.com/t/5673.aspx
  16. Action Point based Pipboy Stealth Add-On - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9542 Pip-Boy StealthBoy Addon - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5903 Stealth Boy Rechargeable - http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10683 Use only one of them.
  17. Fallout 3 mods are only meant for PC. You can't have mods for xbox360 or PS3. The only thing you can do is to tweak stuff like infinite caps, infinite ammo, infinite stimpaks, etc... and also having DLC for them but no mods.
  18. Please post your load order. Even checking 1 mod it crashes? How about the DLC's? Check only DLC's and the vanilla game.
  19. If you uncheck all of your mods, do you still get CTD?
  20. Does your problem also occur with new save games?
