  1. I didn't read the whole thing, but I made a Priest Companion for myself a long time ago. If you want to use it, here you go. You need the preacher clothes that someone made for f03. His name is Monsignor Martinez and he is found at Yangtze Memorial. Or whatever you call it. The place with the giant cross. He is supposed to look like the killer preacher from King Of The Hill and sound like Dirty Harry. All of his dialog and back story is based on the Ween song, "Buenos Tardes Amigos". As I recall he will tell you a little more each day. There could be bugs and dirty edits and whatnot, but he worked passingly well when I used him. If anyone wants to fix/expand/roll into another mod or even release as-is, go right ahead.
  2. GECK has an export/import dialog feature. Seems like it would be easier to export it, translate it, import it.
  3. Nah not really. Working on a comic book instead. It is a little more satisfying and fits into my schedule better. See here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/661488-skunkwater-gulch/page-42&do=findComment&comment=8520200 btw Dust Devil's jacket is open iirc.
  4. You can't remove plugins that add perks (that you have taken), without crashing. Remove the perk first, then disable the plugin.
  5. dp - In SG, Araman's outfit has a male version of this jacket. Doesn't look bad if I say so myself. You can take it from there. I think it is called "Dust Devil" in geck.
  6. Sounds like your task bar is fighting with the game to decide who gets to be on top. Story of my life, really.
  7. That was one of the best parts of the original fallouts, killing a merchant and taking his stuff. Especially that punk who had the kids pickpocket you.
  8. The "space dome" is one of those things that's in the bsa but not geck, as i recall. Glad to see someone is finally using this stuff.
  9. I was speaking with one particular modder quite a while back, and he actually did some experiments and found that not only did performance improve when files were compressed in a bsa (including some crashing issues), it got better the higher compression ratio was used. I was surprised, as it is unintuitive, but I trust his results.
  10. I heard you can do ctrl+a in the char preview screen and it will generate the textures, which you will then need to include in your file. Never tried this personally. Much easier to just make it an esm imo, and no downside to doing so.
  11. If you want them to do it all the time, look at the idles tab on their package. Tick 'use specific idles' then add the one you want. If you only want them to do it at a specific time you can do it via script with the playidle command.
  12. You say you don't look good and you say you don't try to look good, then you complain that your SO doesn't say you look good. This unexpected why? Anyone can be attractive when they have the confidence to believe they are. Women's mags and lack of makeup are irrelevant. You have a couple of choices: The dude is probably not going to change. So you could stay and learn to live with it. You could change to be more girly, you seem to infer that is something he would appreciate. Why should you do this if it's not who you are? Move on to someone who appreciates what you have to offer. That's about it.
  13. Here's how I would do it: copy your fallout3.esm and pitt.esm to your nv/data directory. Open pitt.esm in geck Go to the NPC you want, face advanced, copy Don't close geck, Go to data->open and tick falloutnv.esm, untick fallout3.esm and pitt.esm Make your NPC, go to face advanced, paste. Save your plugin.
  14. Hit the a key and the geck face preview will cycle through its animations.
  15. I had that bug and found it was due to calling showbartermenu/showrepairmenu on a disabled ref (which is the dummy ref the sink's talking activator uses). Or if that wasn't the reason, enabling the ref fixed it, at least.
  16. As I said in the description, it is harder, but doable. You would probably want to start with a working human follower though.
  17. Check out Prospector's Den, that's what they did there to enable the prospectors after you kill the raiders.
