Simple Companion Mod

I have a really simple creature follower mod that I use for myself. Activate to make them follow, do it again to make them stay, that's it. I could put it up if you like. It would take a little tweaking to make it work for an NPC, but nothing too hard. -
Looked in the bsa and looks like it is in there, though it is a little outdated from the most recent version. Do I remember where to get it in game? No, I do not. Probably at one of the shops. Here is the version(s) that will be in the next update, whenever that is. I don't think you need trigger scripts. You are already using patrols, which can have their own result script (on the patrol data tab for the xmarker). You can also put scripts on the AI package for end and begin. Without getting too specific, you can use mybrahminref.removeallitems mycontainerref To dump all of the brahmin's stuff into whatever container you like. Just pick which patrol marker/leg of AI package is most appropriate for what you are trying to accomplish. -
Like dp said, get geck power up and tell us what the error is. Don't think else is a valid term. Try elseif instead. You also don't have a variable called doonce. Add short doonce To the variables at the top. Other than that it could be anything, we are assuming all those things you list actually exist. Blackbriarhammer, blackbriarmetalresource, BlackbriarNorthernRedoubtActivatorRef, etc.

It is in your fallout - textures.bsa file. Use FOMM or the like to unpack it. -

Open your load order in fnvedit, find the mod, find the item. No need to guess at the mod index either. -
All the links changed from newvegasnexus.com to newvegas.nexusmods.com, and none of the old links work any more. I posted about it but I guess it's not worth the trouble to fix. If you change it in your address bar it will work.

It happens for any link that points to newvegasnexus.com. The domain has changed to newvegas.nexusmods.com. I posted in the site feedback but I guess it's not a big enough deal to spend the effort on. Just change it in your address bar and it will work. -

Post more of that. There are lots of posts from new users that have grand plans and 99% of them never go anywhere, so no one wants to get involved based on a forum post. Do what you can do yourself, show that you are willing to invest your own time and effort, and ask specific users for help with specific things you think they might be willing and able to do. -

Personally I would like to see that quest result in a cowed population, instead of a dead one and a bunch of convicts. Trudy, Sunny, Easy Pete, all still alive but resentful and terrified of you and your cronies strutting around like you own the place (which you do). Powder Gangers getting drunk in the saloon and causing trouble, random citizens trying to be heroes, that kind of thing. -

Load your entire load order in fnvedit then find it in the list. -
I notice that all of the links on the first post for file threads (the ones generated by site bot, peace be upon him), are all now broken: 404 Not Found The server can not find the requested page: www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=42022 (port 80) Please forward this error screen to www.newvegasnexus.com's WebMaster. This is because they all point to (in my case) new vegas nexus. If I change the domain to newvegas.nexusmods.com, they work properly. Haven't tried any fallout3 or other sites but I would guess that any threads created before a certain date will be broken in this way. Might be too much of a PITA to fix, which I would understand, just letting you know. -Q
