  1. In one playthrough I gave the entire park and the 3 Commonwealth settlements to the Operators. Yet, when the power plant mission came up it was only the Disciples who were angry. The Pack were fine. But, I realised that was because I'd successfully intimidated Mason earlier. The Pack had no territory but followed me out fear, I guess. This time around the Operators have everything and I deliberately didn't use the charisma check on Mason. Hopefully this time him and Nisha will be at the power plant. Also, I must remember not to unlock the door to the power armor if Mags is nearby. Last time she jumped into it as soon as I opened the door :(
  2. I used to use tfc or tfc 1 in VATS to take action screenshots of my character. I found that in FO4 it's as the OP describes. The only way I've found to get around that is wait for VATS to end then quickly use tfc as you still hold the attack stance afterwards. That's one thing from FO3 and NV I wish was still possible. Outside of VATS tfc/tfc 1 works just fine.
  3. Do you actually have them saved as presets from within LooksMenu? If not then go into character creation and save them as that (presets option, save preset). If that's already done then you can just go to the preset folder (Data-F4SE-F4EE-Presets off the top of my head I think that's right), zip them up individually, or however you want. You can even include the file structure (I did for mine), and just upload it as usual. I hope that makes sense. I'm not at my PC at the moment :)
  4. Oh. I tried Scrap Everything once, but didn't like it, which is why I went back to Spring Cleaning, knowing full well it was old and abandoned :) I'm more used to working with FO4Edit, than the CK, but couldn't really see anything as I didn't know what I should be looking for. Oh well. It's annoying, the sinking objects, but I'll just keep putting up with it
  5. I've a mod that must be doing that - Spring Cleaning. Without the mod it's all good, I can build indoors, on top of roofs. With the mod enabled everything sinks through the floor, except on top of existing rugs. I don't dare move/scrap the rugs. Do you know how I could re-enable what it disabled?
  6. Ah okay. I've just come across another one. With my first one I now just switched the commenting back to "A single comment topic and no discussion tab" and it magically fixed itself. So, now I just did the same to the second one and it's also fixed up. That's okay, then. I was worried for a minute there :) It's all good, now. But, thanks for the explanation of why it locked in the first place :)
  7. I'm doing the rounds of some of my mods on games that I'm currently playing and, noticed one file had it's comments locked by a moderator, it said. There were never any comments on it, anyway. Too bad if I wanted to add a sticky post because I don't have the ability to be able to unlock the comments for some unknown reason. My suggestion - The mod author should always be able to lock and unlock their own comment pages . I never got a PM saying why, either. I don't know how long ago it happened I only saw it today. Now I'm checking all my files to see if any more were locked without me being notified  Also, that little link that says "go to forum thread" when I go there the description for my mod says something that I didn't even write. I thought it was supposed to be the same as when we first uploaded the file. I fixed it myself in a way. Going into edit mode. Instead of the original "A single comment topic and no discussion tab" I switched it to "A single comment topic and a discussions tab," that's given me access to my own comment section again. If I switch it back to the first one it's all locked up
  8. Crashed spacecraft is a short walk from Oberland. Don't forget to follow the blood trail :)
  9. In all my settlements I have a box where I put ammo and weapons I don't use. Anyone's free to take what they want. I use the Hotkeys mod and have set up a remote container that I can access anytime with a simple hotkey. That's where I store stuff I want to keep and there's no way any NPC can access it to steal my stuff :)
  10. One of my games was a "let's do things different" playthrough. I got to the church when the quest sent me there and, before I got to the candle trigger point I sent some missiles into the darkness. Bye bye Railroad. You don't need Tinker Tom to decode the chip :) Although when I had the quest to wipe them out later I still had Deacon to hunt down.
  11. Ever since I installed a particular armor mod I'll get the occasional new settler arrive wearing only a hood from that mod and nothing else. The armor is added to vendors but I thought that was it. It doesn't really bother me as all my settlers wear a uniform so as each new person arrives I switch out their gear anyway.
  12. Well obviously my Frostfall characters would be wearing the latest fur fashions with matching helmet and gloves :DThe skimpy sort of stuff my others wear is mostly from the Tera armor mod.
  13. I think legendaried is definetly a word on FO4! haha, Well I've not been using the marine wetsuit a lot in this playthrough, I think that the face is a little strange resembling an irradiated fish, however I suppose it would go well with an assaultron helment or maybe a sack hood I don't wear the wetsuit facemask. That's ugly. It looks too much like a quirky Spiderman costume. The rest of the suit was really the only thing that didn't look strange under the bulky armor. As she's usually armed with a gatling laser and missile launcher (and a Disciples knife for fun) I preferred wearing something that looks as if she can wield such big guns. I only wear power armor during BoS missions. The novelty has long worn off  Prior to that set up she was just wearing Femshepping's outfit like in your screenshots. The half-Maxson coat with blue jeans, then I later switched it out for the Merc Combat Jacket A from The Mercenary - Pack. Edit: You can see a couple of images of my character in my signature. She's uploaded as a preset (Lucy). I guess, then, I kinda lied in my description, lol. I didn't use her for a long time but now I've gone back to using her. She's my BoS playthrough. But, I really am testing mods with her. Especially More Smarter Companions. My Institute girl is primarily for testing Start Me Up. She wears the Wastelander outfit in The Mercenary - Pack plus Rebel Gas Mask and Rebel Hoodie. X6 wears the B-90 suit (Institute) no helmet and no jetpack, I didn't like all the extras. Only in Skyrim do my characters wear next to nothing. In Fallout (3, NV and 4) my characters wear more practical gear, seeing as there's no magic to protect all those bare bits, lol.
  14. Mine at the moment (female) is the marine wetsuit, with all the armor pieces from a certain Far Harbor quest, except the helmet. I've a ballistic weaved coastguard hat instead. It's all legendaried (is that even a word? lol), except the hat.
  15. Yes. You'd be surprised at what that can fix. Followers that decide to turn off their AI in the middle of combat for no reason at all, my character having a weapon swap glitch and the odd time my current save just refuses to load. Dying solves a lot of problems :D
  16. Same. There is a Videos tab but not many seem to use it. With my mods I've been using the same template for years. One of the staff here made a readme generator back in the Oblivion days. Over time I've added some colour and a few other sections. But it was a good starting point.
  17. I know the wire rubbish bins can be. I put one over some woman's head in the Colonial Taphouse. She was rude to me so deserved it :p
  18. That's unfortunate :( All her mods? I'd not known about the rugs (wish I'd gotten that earlier), but I do have her curtains. I haven't used them yet but they are on an external drive where I shove all my FO4 stuff when I need space. Even though one of my mods was recently stolen and uploaded to Beth.net (PS4) I won't remove or hide mine here. In the past the only reason I've hidden any was due to updating the mod(s) and overhauling the page and one wasn't working properly so I hid it to try and fix it. It was hidden for over a year then I deleted it as my attempts at requesting help resulted in others taking the mod and concept, then re-uploading it (without asking). I guess if anyone has the time and patience they could learn how to make snappable stuff (surely there's a tutorial out there). I'm learning something completely different so have no interest in that right now :)
  19. Using the Spring Cleaning mod I removed the Hammer Animations all over that house. Now, whenever I get those guys I assign Sturges to farming and it's somewhat peaceful. As long as Marcy doesn't walk past me. I tried to assign her somewhere at the far ends of Sanctuary but, she rarely farms. Doesn't do much of anything. In my current game they are still in he museum. Meanwhile, Sanctuary is a thriving, busy, well-established place. No lazy bums anywhere :)
  20. This is the N7 armor mod I use - but it's on Beth.net. The other ones, in the OP, look familiar, or I've seen something similar here, but I don't remember what they were called. There's too many files in the Armor category for me to go looking, lol :)
  21. Lol, I never thought of it like that. I prefer the same. Plus with no humanoid voice. I like Bleep Dark. Though at Sanctuary I have one of each of the non-voiced. It's funny running through there and having all of them greet me in their different beeps and clicks :D Then there's Ada. It's a pity I can't turn off her personality. She has an opinion about things that robots shouldn't. I'm solo right now. I like the silence :)
  22. Here's my Codsworth  http://s26.postimg.org/sgnek57ud/20161208020938_1.jpg He shrinks himself when at counters and scavenging bushes. (Mod is Housekeeping - Scavenging Deluxe) His real size is the same as a robobrain. Although, only recently he's been dropping his assignments. He auto-assigns to that bush, the Clinic or a random mutfruit plant (only 1) but in workshop mode is still listed as unassigned. I assign him to something and the next time I come back he's unassigned and hanging out at that little red bush. It could be a mod messing with him, even Automatron, but it doesn't really bother me. He defends the settlement just fine and always looks busy so I don't mind, really :)
  23. No, you can recruit him without getting Preston and friends. All you need to do is, after first talking to him, and he suggests checking out Concord, go to Concord (get the mapmarker if you haven't already) and look at the raiders, you don't even need to kill any of them, then return to Codsworth. He'll ask about Concord and you can just say, "I only found some raiders." Then he'll ask if he can join you. That's how I do it all the time, now. If I want to take him. I never bother with Preston anymore as I'm usually doing Institute playthroughs and have no interest in most surface-dwellers
  24. I may be in the minority, but I have never, in my 2000+ hours of playing, ever had Preston or MacCready as followers. My current character (level 97, Institute sided) has left Preston in the museum. My quest log says to pick up the laser musket (as if) and go into the museum. And also "Talk to MacCready," as I made the mistake of loitering too long in the Third Rail and some random told me to. Once, though, I did get as far as talking to him but he annoyed me so much that I pretty much told him what I thought of him and left. I played FO3 and remember him. I hated him then the little s**t. I took Curie for the first time and promptly dumped her at Sanctuary after her transformation. Yet, anything I do there raises her affinity so, even though she's not with me we've had two talks as she tends the carrots, lol. In this playthrough I have 3 perks - Gage, X6 and Codsworth. If I stop stealing and murdering random people I could get Piper's and Nick's but those 2 are too annoying for me anymore. I prefer X6 and Strong. Especially X6, lol, no morals there. I ripped off the pub in Diamond City after Henry took off and abandoned the place and X6 had a funny line about that. The more I use him the more often I hear new things. He's a tato farmer at the moment, assigned himself. I don't do do-gooder playthroughs anymore. Only my first few games. Now I always side with the Institute as I've done all endings and that one suits my playstyle better.
  25. I've an i5-4590 and an R7 260X (planning on upgrading to an RX 470 4GB), and read about people with stutter but mine's fine or I'm just used to it that I don't notice. I have a lot of greenery mods and other texture mods, as well as an increased spawn mod and never get near 60fps in Boston. I don't expect to. In the wilderness it's pretty smooth and I often sit near 60fps. In the city it's usually 40-50. I have a different issue due to my card. I hope to not see it again when I upgrade or I'll be switching to the Green Team :)
