  1. As well as all previous replies. Lol@the image :D
  2. I thought it was a request for a different Sword of Power (from an old 80's cartoon), of which I do have (for Oblivion, anyway). Still, the posted image is nice. I've forgotten how to make them, though. Hope someone picks it up.
  3. Hammer Time just for the sledgehammers. I use it, but don't know about mods for other weapon types.
  4. I don't know about all the ones you listed but, Water Pump with Bucket I use so there's that one
  5. If the archive has numbers on the end, yes you can look for them on the site. For example, one of my mods has this on the end -14852-1-00 - the first 5 numbers are what you search for (the 1-00 at the end is just the version of my file). Just input into your address bar: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14852 What I normally do is pick any mod on the front page and replace the numbers at the end with the numbers from the file I'm looking for. If that makes sense
  6. That sounds like more fun than what I had planned. I also was going to take Preston but just to go there, exterminate, leave. I use the Remote Explosives mod so that will come in handy. It's very effective for the Institute ending of the MQ, if planted ahead of time :D
  7. I read something about it somewhere yesterday, as I have a persistant annoying distant terrain issue, but there's no known fix for it. But, as usual during searches I get results for blurry or rainbow textures, things I would prefer over this annoying blue terrain that happens whenever I load from an interior to outside. I've enough vram (8gb) and ram (16gb) so I don't know what's going on. Anyway, it was another forum that someone posted an ini setting to disable texture streaming but at a cost. That cost is low res textures on all objects all the time. Things were good back before one of the patches that introduced all these problems - blurry low res textures, rainbow textures, my blue issue. It's the only game I have issues with :(
  8. Endless Warfare has a setting to increase vanilla spawns. I think it can be used by itself, without activating any other options. Not sure if it includes indoors as well.
  9. It's always been my understanding that you clean them one at a time, top to bottom. Not sure if we should do DLC's for FO4. I did them for Skyrim, though.
  10. I've a similar one called Housekeeping. It adds decorative things that, when a settler is assigned to it, has them doing stuff like cleaning a toilet, sweeping and washing dishes, among many other things. My settlers must be working not dancing and sitting on the floor doing nothing, lol :D
  11. I read it more as, 'release what you've done even if not complete.' I've seen that in another game I play. The modder left the game but uploaded what they'd been working on, all his partial and some completed stuff. (Romero mod for State of Decay). I've done similar with a New Vegas mod. I had a mod I was working on, couldn't quite get it how I wanted so ended up leaving it as is and changing permissions to be open, to allow others to pick up where I left off if they want. A Fallout 3 mod I was working on years ago got to the same point, but I just abandoned it (like what Fkemman11 is complaining about), hid it and pulled the file. Since then the few who had downloaded it had attempted to pick up where I left off without success. The permissions on it, as it was a WIP, was pretty strict and still stands, last I checked. There's a mod recently for FO4 that has one part of it doing what my FO3 mod did. If it'd been only that one part that would've been a problem. Anyway, some of my really old stuff, especially incomplete, I relax permissions and let others pick up where I left off. Not much point hoarding it if someone else can improve upon it :)
  12. You should be able to do it with LooksMenu. Using that ingame you can edit their face and save it as a preset, then upload that preset. Getting the edited NPC from your save into the CK I don't think is possible.
  13. I reinstalled last night. Re-bought it from Steam, and all DLC's. No clue where my old CD's are. I went through the top 100 and got some essentials from there. As you mentioned, Maskar's is the new FCOM? Does that also take the place of Mart's Monster Mod and Oscuro's? My old mod list had Mart's, Oscuro's and Tamriel Travellers all of which I loved. Looking through Maskar's and, for me, it doesn't have the same feel to it. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, lol. I used DarnUi for Fallout 3 and New Vegas but for Oblivion preferred Immersive Interface, so I've gone with that again. At this stage I'm not worrying about which body mod to use. I might try OCO, that's a new one since I was last here. I haven't chosen, nor looked for, any landscape and weather overhauls yet. I just ran through the sewers vanilla to get a feel for the game again. Now that I'm outside I can see what I would like to change. LOD for a start. I had one by Koldorn years ago, which reminds me, he had some nice ayleid and cave textures, too. The latter I used to use in Fallout 3 :) My video card wasn't recognised as it was made in 2013 or 2014 so I put all the graphic options to max and it's fine. I'd rather just landscape and weather overhauls with a reshade or sweet fx rather than an ENB. But, I'll worry about those later.
  14. Well that was helpful. Lately I've had the urge to reinstall Oblivion after around 10 years, lol, and the above post answers some of my questions about which mods to keep or drop. Oblivion Reloaded, if that's like Tamriel Reloaded for Skyrim I'm all for that :) Anyway, thanks for the helpful post I'll likely reinstall on the weekend :)
  15. In my game when I enter workshop mode my companion will wander over to the workbench and just stand there. I've never seen them sandbox. If combat happens while I'm in workshop mode that's annoying. Afterwards, while I'm still in workshop mode, my companion will follow me around as if I wasn't. So I have to exit and re-renter for them to go away. It's always been like that for me, even before I stareted using mods, so I assumed that was normal
  16. I'm pretty sure knuckles are unarmed. So no pistols or rifles at all huh? You must be a terror at close range! I mean with your institute char. I wonder if there is a way to make some underwater battles? Just not with sharks! It was going to be only unarmed but as I wasn't sure I put points into both. I managed to loot Maxson's gatling laser. As much as I like them I modded it up a bit and gave it to a companion. Most unique guns I give to companions. I prefer my fists: :D She's level 63 at the moment. Wears a marine suit with ballistic weave (version 5), and pieces are mostly disciples except the chestpiece and helmet which are metal. All various legendary effects. Even though it seems like she's overpowered a high level assaultron I still need to run away from or let my companion be the target while I stand over here and watch and loot.
  17. My female Institute character is melee/unarmed only. She only has a fully upgraded Disciples blade with a wounding enchantment and some Kneecapper Knuckles. One thing I would like to know - do knuckles come under melee weapons or unarmed? My male BoS character is mostly rifles. Plasma. He's currently armed with a plain gauss rifle (haven't decided on a legendary effect yet), a wounding Gatling Laser, a backup Disciples blade (good for cave crickets and other small critters), a wounding plasma rifle (fully modded, no scope. I hate scoped weapons) and a menagerie of grenades. As I run War of the Commonwealth, sometimes with Endless Warfare, there's no such thing as too many weapons. It's usually ammo that I run out of. I still can't remember which settlement I kept my stash of 167 fusion cores as I only have 21 on me :D
  18. I've had that happen when one of my mods had a WIP thread and the file available for testing. I never did it that way again. I abandoned the mod not long after due to several that took it and ran with it, putting their name on it.Had one similar years before that. Reported it several times and it's still here to this day. On this very site. So, I don't do WIP threads, ever. If you report it (with evidence) and nothing is done about it what can you do? In my experience, nothing.
  19. Mount & Blade Warband and Subnautica. Two totally different games but both a lot of fun for me. I'm bored with Fallout 4 at the moment.
  20. Edit: My issue persists. The only thing that will fix it will be a new video card, I think. My R7 260X is just too old and weak, now. Next card will be a RX 480 4GB (8GB is too expensive here). I've tried all the .ini edits, using ENBoost, and nothing works. Googling my issue and it's not a very common one - rainbow textures are far more common but, I don't get those. I'd glady trade for that problem, though  Â Edit 2: Meanwhile 3 months later, I have a new monitor and video card (MSI RX 480 8GB) and the problem is still there. It can't be a ram or vram issue (I have 16GB in my system and 8 GB on the card). My card never goes over 60C so it's not overheating and there's ample cooling inside my case. Been trying to fix this stupid thing myself - blue is a mesh issue, right? You'd think extracting all the meshes (or just landscape) from the ba2 would fix it, maybe even all the landscape materials as well, but no. I'm sure if I extract all ba2's it'll still be there. It's only this game that I've had this annoyance. Very few people have it (Google "fallout 4 blue terrain" and there's only a couple of results that aren't rainbow textures. Plus there's no fix. Edit 3: Looks like I might have eradicated it, at last. Had several long gaming sessions where I had to go into interiors and back out (which is when it happened, when the world loaded). What has so far fixed it for me is Vivid AIO. I'd used parts of it before but now I use everything. Well, except some trees that FO4 Seasons overwrites (so I can have leaves). So it looks as if Vivid fixed it. Hopefully it stays away for good this time :) (Edited without bumping for anyone who comes here from Google like I did).
  21. Lol! I guess so  It's only this game. Skyrim I use Wrye Bash, Oblivion was WB and OBMM, Fallout 3 and NV mainly FOMM. I haven't tried anything for FO4, but I will check out how Wrye Bash is going and might try that. I loved it for Oblivion, there were so many features. I only use it for load order in Skyrim as the other features I wanted aren't there.
  22. I don't use anything, just my own judgement. After adding a new mod to the load order I run the lot through FO4Edit to check if I need a patch or if something overwrites that I don't want to I move the mods position. I have a merged patch as well. No problems so far. Nothing I can't fix, anyway.
  23. Same. I hate pipe weapons. I'd rather use my fists than any of those. I'd thought about modding them out of my game but usually end up finding something else I have to 'fix' so I haven't got around to even attempting it.
  24. That one's mine, lol. It wouldn't be causing that issue. It just edits a formlist that companions pull from when you pick up tin cans and mops, etc. EFF is that a follower framework? I had that for Skyrim if it's the same one. The one for visible companion affinity I also use that and have't had issues. But I don't use the extra esp Affinity Check. But, IMO, disabling companion-related mods (including mine) might be an idea, just to be sure.
