  1. I could swear that I have seen this before, but I just can't remember when/what. Do you run Majestic Mountains, especially in conjunction with the lightside/darkside underlayment?
  2. To make sense of this, you kind of have to keep track of what you have done in patching, etc. If those files are ones you intentionally changed, then use the 'Save all changes', and Vortex will save them, and back up the previous version of the file for you. If one or more of those files are ones that you decide that you don't want to save right now, or an official update has just been d/l, then use either the 'Use newer file', or revert, as you choose. I am pretty sure that the individual choices are there to allow you to make different choices for the separate files.
  3. I believe that this was a (temporary) casualty of updating the forum here. The update of the mod comment forum is supposed to bring back the search option, I think. Someone else will have to let you know for sure. Try searching this feedback topic for your answer, if no one else gets back to you here: Upon looking, I think that if you search this other one for 'mod comments', you will find the answer you seek...
  4. @compare123 FYI - I am using the Firefox browser on Win 10, and the theme is "Curious Cute Cat" - just in case you want to see the actual colors and get the hex or RGB values.
  5. That blue bar highlight for the filter application is eye-burning for me. Is there any way to change it back to the color it was w/o changing the color of the uninstalled mod status buttons? I tried to change the colors in Settings, but the status buttons and the bar colors are in the same group for color application... The small mod status buttons are not a problem, and I like the cool color indicating the never installed/uninstalled status, just the rather large expanse of bright blue really gets to me. I have a very strong prescription in my glasses, and the blues really jump around more for me, as the blues are more affected by refraction than those lower in the spectrum. FYI - on old CRT monitors, it was so bad, that I could see individual colored elements near the edge of my lens FOV, and there was a red->blue shift that would occur that would change in length as I turned my head a bit to see something on the screen. The eye strain was incredible.
  6. GJ! Best when found solutions are posted.
  7. @compare123 - When I was running Windows 98, and later, Win 7, the ability to manually change window colors and other attributes allowed me to have a medium intensity and brightness cream/buff background, with a black or dark brick red font color, even in many programs (apps). That was much easier on my eyes, and I curse the day that Win 10 took away those options. My eyes are always crying when reading pages of text in my mail program, Notepad, and WordPerfect. Here is an example from my current Firefox scheme: Even the url background is a small bit off-white...
  8. Are you running BEES in your 1.6.640 LO? If not, the CC stuff you d/l were probably ones with the new 1.71000 header, OR the newer CC stuff doesn't play well w/the 1.6.640 versions of unofficial fixes for the game and/or CC fixes...
  9. The SKSE-based mods can be quite a problem to maintain. Look at the Skyrim Game Community, in the Skyrim SE forum, and search for "dll has failed to load", and see what pops up. You will need to join that community to post. You will also need to know the game version you are running, and the SKSE version you are using (which should match the recommendation for that game version on the SKSE home page, or mod page on the Nexus).
  10. You might get a faster response on the Skyrim SE forum in the Game Communities section. You will have to join it to post.
  11. Hey, you had better be careful - I think that I fat-fingered an extra 'd' in that file name. Sorry.
  12. Now it is my turn to have left something out... You might also get faster/better responses if you check out the FO4 game community. You will have to join to post.
  13. Check out Backported Extended ESL Support (BEES) ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 ). With this, you don't have to worry about changing that 1.71 header value, and you get support for doubling the number of ESL/ESPFE mods you can use in a game.
  14. You would probably get more help if you included the name of the game you are working in, either in the title of the post, or as a tag.
  15. Maybe Missing Follower Dialog Edit ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56115 )? You could go to that mod page, and ask AndrealphusVII if it will do what you want, usually he answers pretty quickly. I don't know how, what with all of the mods he handles/develops.
  16. @uglybaby - there are so many ways to go wrong on fixing the problems caused by the .1130 and .1170 game updates, that you have to be very particular in how you follow the instructions. It can be a real pain to work through. One more time, the nexus wiki ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) for working versions of SKSE mods.
  17. Well, then dig down into your Skyrim Special Edition folder, and make sure that the three files in part 2 made it into that folder. You can use the Open Game Folder, in the menu bar of the Mods tab of Vortex to get there quickly. Check for the d3ddx9_42.dll, the tbb.dll, and the tbbmalloc.dll. The files have the Date Modified of 2019-01-19 for the first, 2020-07-10 for the other two. I was under the impression that the part 2 had to be manually extracted into the game folder, check and make sure that Vortex put them in the right spot. I don't know how you got Vortex to install part 2, unless you used the drag n drop method, or the 'Install From File' at the top of the Mods page in Vortex.
  18. I don't know why you would manually install, but you can drag and drop the file to the appropriate place on Vortex to get it to handle the install. A manual install refers to you placing the proper files in their mod-expected places in the game's folder, or other folders, as appropriate. All of the various libraries are extracted and placed into your game's installed directory, in ...SKSE/plugins. This way, you could pick and install only the library that applies to your game version, BUT will have to also remove it manually, should you want to update the game at a later time. I would simply d/l that v.2 Address Library via the 'Mod Manager Download', and find the file in your Mods tab under Vortex, and do the automated install from there. You could use the filter at the top of that page to enter 'address', and only available files with the word will show in the display. If you have any other Address Library files installed, you should uninstall/remove them FIRST, using the drop-down arrow at the left, and select either 'Uninstall' or 'Remove' (Remove will delete the saved file from Vortex). I think that both SKSE and Vortex look for the latest files. Just use the box at the far left click on the arrow, and select 'Enable' for your new file.
  19. Yeah, its easy to miss. Just go to the Game Communities forum, scroll down/search for the game you want. You will have to join that game's community to post.
  20. Go to the Vortex Support forum on the home forum site, and search for 'masterlist' or 'missing masterlist'. There are several causes, and several remedies. Check the SKSE tool for the proper information to tell Vortex where to look for your SKSE LOADER. It should be in the same folder as your Skyrim SE executable.
  21. Then, open the archive in Zip, or 7zip, or whatever, and check the labels of the folders inside, like I did. You should find that all of the folders start with 1.5. That means it is an 'All in One' for the various versions of 1.5. If it checks out, install it.
  22. Which game? I am pretty sure that Skyrim SE has such a mod...
  23. OK, now that you are here, did you go back and make sure that you have the v. 2 of Address Library? You should have this file (All in one-32444-2-xxxxx - the 2 is the version number), and not anything else - in your d/l files. That is the one you want to install.
  24. If the part 2 of Engine Fixes is not properly installed, it can cause the SKSE error message you showed...
  25. Check the specs on your laptop on the BB website, or on the manufacturer's site. I bet there are answered questions in each that specifically ask about SSD compatibility. The connection interface will be the primary consideration, followed by power consumption (idle/peak) and the amount of storage you think you will need. I know that there are many places that review SSD, but I am partial to Guru3D.com, which, BTW, is a European sited concern (Germany, I think). Might get some insights on other stuff related to your comp there.
