  1. No. This one was interesting to me because it lacked dependencies (Immersive Interiors requires "All Natural").

Edit: I found it! It's "Reneers Interiors Mod". It was the Interiors keyword I needed, for some reason that word wasn't coming to mind.

Don't download that, it's a very very unfinished mod and it has a LOT of serious problems that have not been repaired. See the screenshot for it that I uploaded, it's totally unplayable because it completely and utterly breaks every interior cell in the game. Originally the author claimed an OBSE bug was responsible for said issues and needed to be addressed before another update would be possible; the OBSE bug has long since been fixed, but seven months later and they haven't been back to update it.

  2. Can anyone identify these armors? I'm particularly interested in the one second from the left, and on the right in the top row, and second from the left in the bottom row.

  3. Can anyone give me some advice on playing with a pure or mostly magic character? :(

I'm especially bad at aiming offensive spells. Their targeting seems off; they don't go exactly where the crosshair is pointing.

I also basically know zero strategy for surviving on magic. All my characters so far have been Bosmer archers. :(

  4. It's just awful. All I did was make a very minor edit of the female Arena Raiment mesh, cutting off the bottom half of the cuirass piece and enlarging the pauldrons a bit, and now everything is all messed up. It all works fine and looks perfect in NifSkope, but in CS/game the pieces I edited are all messed up, one pauldron is floating up above the head and the cuirass is just totally all messed up... what did I do wrong? :(

I use Blender, I'm posititve I used correct skeleton and assigned all pieces correctly to it, used the right verticies etc etc, and I used Growlf's rigging machine to copy the bone weight scripts over to the cuirass.

  5. I was wondering why in the heck all of my Redguards had doughy white arms and legs while wearing certain pieces of clothing.

Immediately suspecting what the problem likely was, I went and looked at the Male clothing meshes in NifSkope (these are vanilla meshes converted for Robert's Male that I downloaded), and sure enough, the problem was occuring because the part of the mesh that has the exposed arms/legs had its material assigned as "shirt" instead of "skin". Now clue how this could have got messed up.

But I can't seem to repair it, because if I try to correct it by typing "skin" in the material name field, the material of all the other parts of the mesh becomes "skin" as well, which is even worse.

Please, oh please help me, I desperately want to fix this. :(

  6. But for some reason when I try to use the player.addspell cheat to force the spells into my spell pool, it's only adding stupid scrolls into my inventory, not actual spells to my character. It's getting highly frustrating.
  7. How come absolutely none of my players have any start spells besides the scripted ones added by mods? I have Supreme Magicka and OOO+FCOM, could one of those be causing this? If not then what could? I'm really frustrated by this, it's causing seriously gameplay issues for me.
  8. For a female body replace I recommend Robert's Female, plus this mesh replacement for the lower body. Seriously, it's absolutely beautiful.

Don't get me wrong, HGEC is nice, but frankly I think the hand and foot meshes are too vanilla like, chunky and unrealistic, low quality and ugly. Also, it has some really ugly seams along the back that I just couldn't stand. Plus I think the shoulders are very ugly, made all of the females in my game look anorexic and highly un-realistic.

For male body replace I recommend Robert's Male V5. Unfortunately there are far fewer body replacers out there for males, but seriously, this one is the absolute best one there is, and there are several good variations included that you can choose from. It's also the most widely supported one.

Also, I strongly recommend these absolutely beautiful Robert's Male and Female textures from Slof. They're absolutely wonderful, and there's textures for *ALL* of the vanilla races of both sexes (which is truly amazing, because good textures for both male and female Orc/Dark Elf/Argonian/Khajiit/Dremora/Golden Saint/Dark Seducer are VERY difficult to find for ANY body replacer, most mods only have textures for the humanoid races, which sucks). And, if you download the PSD files provided, you can customize them yourself, which is epic awesome.

  9. But DarN does not touch the Handwritten font... how would I go about making changes to it with an XML editor? I have not been able to locate any program that can open Oblivion's font files... :(
  10. How do you edit Oblivion's fonts? I know there has to be a way, a few people have done it, but several Google searches have turned up nothing.

All I want to do is make the Handwritten font just a little bit smaller cause I think it's a little too big. :(

  11. More equipment, arms and armor? Here. My absolute favourite.

I'm also a big fan of this mod.

FCOM (which unites the OOO, MMM, Frans and WarCry) is also VERY good, it adds a lot of armors and weapons into the game, among a lot of other cool things, though it's a pretty advanced mod that can be complicated to properly install so only download it if you're a fairly experienced mod user.

  12. You may have not installed it correctly. Did you use Oblivion Mod Manager to install? If not I very very strongly advise you to download it and read the instructions for creating and using OMODs to install mods. It's far easier and safer than copying the files yourself, as it automatically places all the files where they need to go.
