Hello. Im making a quest, well - Polishing it off. And i'v gotten very annoyed at a tiny detail. The objective is to pick up 3 parts on the floor, and the compass leads me to them. But even after picking up 1/3 of the parts. There are still 3 compass arrows.. Even if i pick 2/3 there are still 3 arrows whom points towards where the parts was dropped in the GECK. Im sure this sounds confusing.. But please, i need help lol. Ask me if you don'¨t understand :)

Something is wrong. I think changing from Child to adult swapped the Voice type, therefor making your earlier recordings unuseable. Or something. Hope this helps lol.

Hey. Im in desperate need of help as im stuck to all hell with a mod im working on. Im trying to make my first quest, bear with me - I'v read the "Basic" quest tutorials etc. What im trying to achieve is to repair a Power Source. Namely a Generator. What i'v made so far is the quest, i'v made a Generator which is a Activator with the Generator mesh. I have made a quest objective that tells the player to get 3 "Generator" parts that i'v scattered around the Mojave for me, us.. To find. I activate the activator (The Generator) to get a message shown, through the script attached to the Activator that, like i said gives the player a new Objective, tracking these parts down. I get the compass to work, it points to the individual parts etc - But when i pick up the parts, the compass is still pointing towards where the Parts were, on the floor. HOW can i build a script to accomplish this without killing myself, over.. and over again. QUESTION is; How would i build a script which i can attach to the Activator, that tells my to find the spare parts in a message, get a new objective, then magicly "change" the Activator to a new one, with a Repair option? Im quite confused. Ask if anything. Thanks :)

Hello. Im trying to make a quest object that leads the player to a broken generator, and the compass etc works great. But im having a hard time figuring out how i should do this one. At the moment i'v got a Activator with the Generator mesh, with the activation button "Investigate" Which is what the quest object is. "Investigate the Generator". And i am able to click it, and get my message, hopping to the next Objective. But im having a slightly hard time figuring out how i can swap out the Generator after the Investigate objective is completed. Right now i can investigate it, finishing the objective, then i can investigate it once more.. Or 100 times more - Since it's the same activator with the "Investigate" Button. Is there anyway to swap out the Activator with a script, or something else after finishing Stage 10 "Investigate the Generator"? Hope this makes sence. Thanks :=

Hello! :) Im making a quest at the moment for personal use, and im wondering how do i finish my objective? I'v sent the Player to Invastigate a broken Generator, when a message pops up telling him he better repair it before further use. I now get my new Objective of finding the parts, but it didn't "check-out" the old object, of investigating it. So now i got 2 objects on my pip-boy. "Check out the Generator" And "Fix the Generator". Anyone know what i'v done wrong? :x

Hello, again! :-) Im making a slightly great mod imo and need some advice. Im trying to fire off a quest by reading a note i found in a drawer. How can this be done? Is it something about the Conditions in the Quest, or do i need a script to fire the whole queststage off? I did add the quest to the note, btw. :)

So. I need to be able to Copy Goodsprings Water Source. I know it's made of individual parts and such, and it seems hard to make it look good myself. Is there any way i can just Drag over the whole water source, and "copy" it, or something? I'd hate having to build one somewhere else from the bottom up. :turned:

Haha, well. I would preffer perfection over nazi. :pirate: But, i do get what you're saying. Meh, i need a working Construction Set lol. Would be awesome to be able to make dialogue without getting pissed. Thanks mate! :) -

So, i just got some spare time and i was thinking of making myself some cool hangouts etc, new people and those sorts. I opened the GECK, only to remember it's not voice supported, with that i mean Voice/Lipsync is not working correctly. Is there any other doable way to do such a thing? AND. Is anyone looking forward to seeing the SKYRIM CS in work? :thumbsup:

Hey. Recently a buddy asked me to do some simple stuff on Oblivion, and i felt the urge to do it. I can't seem to edit the landscape around a house i'm making. Why can't i spray the landscape with different textures? Like TerrainMudstone01 for an example. I just dont know how to. X] It seems.. Thanks :)

If its an ESP file you simply drag & drop the Esp file into the Data folder. Something like this i guess : C drive > Program files -> Fallout New Vegas - > Data. This will not work for a legal version of Fallout: New Vegas. As the only legal version requires steam. As for non steam - they are all pirate versions and are not supported here. If you have a stolen copy (pirate) go back to your pirate friends for help when your game doesn't work. Bnen46, Moderator

Hm. That sounds quite hard to get around with. I just made the Ghoul race playable. And a friend of mine want's that "perk" or "Natural Resist" you might say. How could i add this to the player? Could i call getisrace, or something or another? :s Thanks :)

Im trying to use the ability the Glowing one has got, on another NPC. So what i am asking is, How do the Glowing one get the Radiation Healing? Is it a script, a perk? A effect? A combination maybe? I can't find anything in the Geck. Need help :thumbsup:

Well, there is a wheel chair. Wouldn't be such a stupid idea to actually make a Wheelchair NPC or two. I'd love it :happy:

Thanks for the input. Yes, im trying to build up some history, which is relevant, and lore friendly towards the Fallout Series. These new Races are all former slaves, so some repair, or maybe unarmed skills indeed. :) I got to leave for a few now, but i just finished the hispanic race with these textures, and im going to upload some more pictures right after im done with the Face presets! Thanks again :)

So, i'v been working most of today, making a new kind of race. It consists at the moment of a retexture of all the vanilla races i.e Hispanic/Asian. I'll also add a playable Ghoulrace. :) Would someone download anything like this? I know its just a simple retexture, but these kind of things take time. So, all in all the file would contain 4 new races (Coucasian Slave, Hispanic Slave, Asian Slave, African American Slave) Aswell as a Ghoul Race. I also got one of my friends making up some lore, around these new races, for some fun. :) Would anyone want something like this? http://i54.tinypic.com/2dgrzer.jpg This is a preset of the Caucasian Slave Race. Im going to upload more pictures as soon as im done, and made the other presets watchable. Right now they are quite ugly, to be fair. :laugh:
