  1. How about a "Stockholm Syndrome" type mod?? The idea would be that if you are fighting bandits, Forsworn, or vampires, (really any type of human enemy,) and your follower gets knocked down, (or "killed") then that follower would then be captured and become part of that enemy's faction. Maybe they are transported to a new bandit camp or Vampire's lair. It would trigger a quest, similar to the "Rescue" type quests. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Rescue http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Rescue_Mission http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Bandit_Attack Your former follower would be part of that faction until you kill the bandit leader, or Forsworn Briarheart at that location. - OR maybe you'd have to fight and beat your follower down, and then you are allowed to administer a potion or spell to return them to normal. It could be fun to try and rescue Lydia or Jordis from Forsworn, or vampires. I don't have much in the way of mod skills, but since there are "Frenzy" spells, and "raise the dead spells" it seems like this would be possible??? Using the consul, Is there a way to force a Rescue mission to start?? Thoughts??
  2. That would be cool. And if they held you in place for a moment too. Like if you the player, step on a bear trap, it clamps down on you and you have to pick the lock before you can move again, - while your opponent closes in on you. Or you could place the trap, in order to capture or stun a bandit. I'd also like it if the trap could be modified to force you to unequip or drop your weapon and boots. You could pick them up again, but it could then have an impact on you if you are in a fight.
  3. could you look at one of the other caves in Creation kit and copy what they are doing? Or make it a dead end, and put the cave entrance piece in front of the dead end, so you "enter" Skyrim?? Good luck!
  4. is there a mod which prevents you from changing gear during combat? I think it could help with immersion if you could not change your boots and armor with one click while you were locked in combat, in a fight to the death. I don't even know if I'd use this mod. :) I sometimes try to play without using the fast travel feature. And so I'll wear clothes to travel faster. But then when bandits attack, I switch to heavy armor for more protection. Seems kinda like cheating, since the bandit did catch me by surprise. I should have to fight in what ever ragged robes I'm wearing. Thoughts or ideas??
  5. Awesome. Thank you both. I'm using Dual Sheath redux, but I think the problem is with my load order. I have the immersive animations and the XP32 skeleton, and I think the XP32 skeleton used to allow me to select sword on back, but now it seems to skip that step, and only allow me to adjust the dagger and quiver. Is that possible?? Update: Yes it is.   6. HELP! I had my 1 hand sword on my back and I loved it. Then I started a new game, moved some mods around, and now It is on my hip!! What mod moves the 1H sword to your back?? Please help! :)
  7. I just finished playing through the Thieves quests to get the additional 5 vendors in the Ragged Flaggon, and now I'm starting a brand new character, and a new game. Is there any way to "cheat" and start the new game with the Ragged Flaggon Vendors already in place?? I want it to be like my new character is walking into a world where my previous character already walked through. But I also want to NOT have to go through some of the tedious "Job" in the various cities to get my improved Ragged Flaggon back to what it was. Is there a Cheat code or console command I can use, so that my new character is walking into a world with certain quests already completed? I want the Thieves guild to be complete. But I want to play through the Civil War quest again. Thanks!! LTK
  8. I am using NMM. But there are some mods that I downloaded where I made simple, small changes to the mod in the Creation kit. For example, changing the stats on a weapon or armor. And I made one of my own mods that allows you to smelt, or breakdown swords for ingots. All small changes, but I don't want to recreate them. So it sounds like for the most part, if I just save the ESP to drop box or something, then move it back into the data folder on the new computer, I should be good to go?? Thanks lordmonkus!
  9. I am getting a new computer. I've made a couple mods and tweaked a couple other mods, and I want to move them to my new computer. Is it as easy as making a copy of the .esp? And moving the esp to the data folder on the new computer? Thanks! Ltk

I know that this is subjective, but I just got a new high end game computer, and I want to max out what Skyrim and the mods can make it look like There are a ton of different ENBs and water textures etc. Is there a general consensus on what is the "Best"?? Has anyone out there experimented with a few different graphics mods and found a set of mods that they really like? I will have plenty of RAM on the computer, and on the video card. But my current machine seems to crash every so often when I'm using a lot of high texture mods. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to share their mod load order as far as the visuals and graphics!!   12. I what to change the name of a Doomstone on the map. Where do I do that? I changed the Doomstone Tower Perk/Power. Everything is working now, EXCEPT that on the Skyrim map, the Tower stone still has the old name. Thanks!!
  13. I'm on my 3rd play through and my character is about a level 60. I have not seen a single werewolf this entire game. Do you have to start the Companion story line before werewolves show up?
  14. This is a wonderful idea! One way to do it would be to put an item, like an enchanted ring or necklace, on the creature you kill. Then the player could Disenchant that item to learn the enchantment. I don't know how you'd get the soul to match up to the creature?? Because my Creation-Kit-Fu is weak. Maybe create a new soul type? Bears - could help you resist Frost and improve your strength in 1 hand, 2 hand, and unarmed strikes. Maybe you can make boots and gauntlets out of his hide?

  16. In the Creation Kit - is there a way to stop the player from shouting? For example, a necklace with an enchantment that blocks Shouting and magicka regeneration? Or a special Jail cell that would be designed for mage and Dragon Born types.
  17. I'm creating an ability/spell that slowly drains your stamina when you are wearing Heavy Armor in the rain. I have everything working now, except it drains the stamina too fast. I want to slow the effect. Currently, I have the MGEF as a Dual value modifier on Stamina Rate and Stamina. If the player character typically regenerates stamina at a rate of 5. Do I need to make the magnitude of the Damage Stamina Rate at least a 5 just to break even? Or would a Damage Stamina Rate of 5 automatically drain the stamina at that rate?? Thanks!!
  18. Question: I'm trying to create a mod where it slowly drains the players stamina, if you are wearing heavy armor and heavy armor boots in the rain. The idea is that it is harder to fight when it is wet and cold. I've got my spell/ability/ and magical effects working just fine for when the player is swimming in heavy armor. BUT - I can't seem to find the correct Term in the creation kit for when it is raining. Some seem like shaders, and so the stamina is getting drained, even when the player is indoors and I'm guessing, it is just the mist shader from water. Does anyone know what weather condition I'd have to put in as a condition, for my spell/ability to work?? Right now in the Spell conditions, I'm using the "GetIsCurrentWeather" and then Weather: Skyrim Storm Rain. But this doesn't seem to be working. And is there a console command to "Start raining now" ?? Thanks!! LTK
  19. Thanks! I had downloaded Deadly combat, and thought I noticed the difference, but I wasn't sure. So what happens if you are wearing a heavy armor helmet, but light armor boots? How does the game know what to level up when you get hit?

  21. Does anyone know if Skyrim uses location based damage? For example, if I am wearing boots, but my character gets hit in the head, do the boots help the armor rating at all? And decrease the damage of the head shot?? If I'm wearing a heavy armor helmet, but light armor boots, does it matter?? Thanks!!!
  22. Is there a Quest Mod where you can rescue a kidnapped NPC? There is one (easy) quest in Hearthfire where Rochelle the Red will kidnap your spouse, but it is rather short. I'd like to see a quest type of mod where bandits could beat and kidnap your companions. - maybe leave you for dead, and then you'd have to rescue them. Does anyone know of a quest mod like this?
