  1. How about deleting everything and redownload & install? Another possibility: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#Reverting_Skyrim_to_a_Pristine_.28Vanilla.29_Installation
  2. This is an old beginner vid, but it should still help you to get started.
  3. Skyui uses f4. And prob a ton of other mods too. F5 is the normal quicksave.
  4. Guys, thats a texture replacer. There is no esp to activate. Explained in the 2nd post of this thread.
  5. NOTE For all having issues with transparent textures, please delete the helper mod included with the files: enb_reference.esp and enb_reference.bsa. Be sure to try a save file that did not have this helper mod active at the time. As well, please ensure your in-game and driver-enabled anti-aliasing methods are turned off. Cheers. (from k enb modpage)
  6. Yeah you must use mod organizer to run skyrim (you can launch skyrim without mod organizer but it would be in vanilla state). Remember that there are mods which you cant install with mod organizer (skse, enbs, umm... whatever). Anyway, with mod organizer you have the best tool existing for skyrim. It will save you tons of time somewhere in the future. Might be a bit complicated at start but its worth it.
  7. The papyrus log is useless for ctd hunting. Only reason to look into papyrus would be a script running rampant and your log files are suddenly 10mb++ after some minutes. Make a copy of your skyrim installation directory and depending on your mod manager a copy of the folders the manager is using. Now uninstall all your mods. Cross fingers and load up your save (use a save where you didnt killed anything) of bleakfalls barrow. If you manage to get into game run around and try to repeat the crash. If its crashing again your savegame is toast. If not its a mod conflict which can be solved by un- and reinstallation of mods. This will cost a ton of time without doubt.
  8. Some months ago there was someone with a similar problem and in the end it was a problem with permission rights under windows. Did you tried to run skyrim with admin rights?
  9. The biggest performance hitter are always upgraded texture mods or mods which create objects. Like city overhauls which put additional flora and other things. Or more npc spawns. If disabling those helps with your ctds... thats a different question.
  10. The archive of the dragonpriest mod doesnt have a /data folder. So either the mod manager is intelligent enough and places the files correctly or the files are somewhere else. Also the dragon priest mod is 1.5 years old, which is a good reason to stay away from it. /textures and /meshes are (beside others) standart filepaths. You would see them if you unpack the .bsa files (bsa files are simply archives). You can check this in the virtual file system of mod organizer easily.
  11. First you should head to the mod page of mighty dragons and follow the (hopefully) existing uninstallation guide. Personally I would uninstall, save, go indoor and wait for 30 days, save and check again if there are still unique dragons. But only if there is no uninstalltion guide present.
  12. /data/textures /data/meshes are standart folders. The archmage robe retexture will simply replace an already existing .dds file and the other one is doing the same for an mesh. The dragonpriest mod is wrongly packed its putting the /meshes folder not into /data. Instead of manual installation of mods use mod organizer. Its the only mod manager I know which lets you install/uninstall mods without any trace. Now we need something similar for savegames + scripts and skyrim would be improved by 100%.
  13. Whatever mod manager youre using its obviously not putting your mods into the right place. You might want to check if you didnt changed your folder structure with your incident or simply point your mod manager to the right skyrim folder again.
  14. I installed the mod and with opening console and "help bottle" I saw a unique misc item (and guessing from the pictures on the mod page its from the mod). So just do it: open cosole, help bottle and if you see something like "sailing ship in a bottle" the mod is installed. Btw... this mod uses a ton of scripts, so save your game before install this, just in case.
  15. Youre missing the rain texture. Install real rain basic 5 (a simple texture) or something similar and if this doesnt fix it, reinstall all your weather mods. Edit: You would have mentioned if you would use an enb I think.
  16. It looks like a normal cot aurora to me and the enb youre using makes it way too bright. I run real vision (performance) with night level 8 (this works with my setup). Go download skyrealism (realistic) and try this enb. Its a lot less saturate (but has other disadvatages). Check if the night with skyrealism is more to your liking. If it is, go to the real vision forum and ask skyrimtuner how to tone down the bright auroras at night.
  17. How about you ask the question on the RV forum?
  18. If you reinstall the eyes of beauty, is the bug gone?
  19. As skse isnt a mod its installed outside of any modmanagers, so I have no clue what youre talking about "not showing in the mod manager". Its normal to not show up. The crash at load screen is a missing master. Some mod of you needs another mod which isnt installed, it crashes after the load screen. Probably unrelated to skse.
  20. Papyrus is useless for fixing ctd problems. Just ignore it. Youll have to disable/enable your mods until you single out the faulty one. No way around. Be glad that you have a reproducable crash, it just means to invest some time for a secure fix.
  21. If you start new get mod organizer instead of NMM. Its way better.
  22. Skyrim updates the weather & lighting in intervals, for example the sun/shadows dont move fluently, just wait for a sunny day and see for yourself. You can decrease the update times, but I dont know how, would have to google around a bit.
