As with your last thread this has already been answered - in great detail - months ago. Please see the news post below. https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14538 I'm also asking you please read the resources I've linked here and in the last thread you made rather than posting topics that will only cause conflict. I am sorry you don't agree with these changes, but we're not going to make any additional changes for the time being.

If the uploader has chosen to hide the archived files, they don't want you to download it. As Zanderat says, you can ask them nicely to put it back up in their "old files" section or to unhide the archive.

Sounds like your local security software has sabotaged your Vortex installation, try reinstalling it over the top of what is already there.

Reshade and character creation presets
Pickysaurus replied to yomamasofullfigured's topic in Site Support
the problem with this is, that it hides actual mods under the same tag category as well. Especially because authors post the presets under Miscellaneous as well as Visuals. You've named two categories. These are tags. You can block the "Reshade" and "Preset" tags specifically. -

You can use the tag blocking feature to prevent this files from appearing on your homepage: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/39-how-do-i-hide-or-show-adult-or-other-specific-content -

Not a bad idea. It might be something we'll consider for the next version of the profile page.

I would strongly suggest you try out the Collections Open Alpha. A lot of it is based on assumptions rather than actually using the system as-is. These questions have also been answered at length in the past so there's no point in rehashing it all. #1 - https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/FAQ#can-i-opt-out-of-collections #2 - Test the system and you'll see how it works. The default settings don't use archived files, but they can be selected where the collection depends on them. #3 - This was answered at length in our news post: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14538

Sorry to hear you're having issues and thanks for providing the information. As you have no connectivity to any of our free servers in the test, it's likely to be a problem with your ISP or a routing issue. Those 5 test servers are in completely different locations around the world so a bad connection to all of them implies an issue closer to your end of the connection. You may be able to try using a VPN as a workaround?

There does seem to be something wrong with the God of War forum, even I'm not permitted to post there for some reason...

This is explained on the delete account page (which is why we prefer people self-serve). Your mod pages aren't changed automatically - after deleting your account it's often impossible to prove you were previously the owner of the pages too, which sucks but you can thank the EU for their GDPR...

Can you clarify what type of extension would do this? We have a help page here for guidance on browser settings and extensions which may break the site: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues

The issues you're mentioning are indicative of javascript not working in your browser. Ensure you do not have anything blocking our javascript from working ("internet security suites", browser plugins, browser settings, etc.) else the site will not function properly. Thank you for your heads-up! I have found the root: Nexus mod website is using some js libraries from a lot of addresses such as: https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/PapaParse/5.0.0/papaparse.min.js But these addresses have been blocked by GFW in China. (Perhaps recently) So unless your web browser has correct cache of them, or use VPN to get access of these addresses ( better to use global mode), the scripts of web will never work. Download button is just one of them. How to tell if you meet the same issue of mine: On mod download page, the one you can see "SLOW DOWNLOAD" button and "FAST DOWNLOAD" button, press F12 to enable the developer mode of your web browser. Click on the error icon to check the error list. If you see some web links which end with ".js" saying "xxxx closed" or "can't get access xxxx", you got it. This is useful information, thanks for sharing. I'll pass this onto our developers and see if there's anything we can do from our side. It's strange that they'd block a CloudFlare URL considering the amount of sites that use it.

Timurama banned. Reason: Posting a vulgar and transphobic rant. Amusingly you decided to post this on a news article completely unrelated to anything your toxic copypasta mentions. You'll be please to know that almost nobody saw it. Reference post

I'm not able to replicate that here. Perhaps it's a weird bug caused by browser addons where the tracking list doesn't actually show you the final page?
-
Split this into a separate thread as you tagged your reply onto an unrelated issue.

Cannot buy Premium with PayPal; anyone else having similar issues?
Pickysaurus replied to Unmei's topic in Site Support
There's about a 5 minute delay between the purchase completing and your status on the site changing due to a token refresh. This can be side-stepped entirely by logging out and back in again.
