They're older in the sense that they were set up first. While I understand your frustration there's not much we can do if it's an ISP fault or simply bad routing. You could try using a VPN as I suggested earlier?

moddroidco banned. Reason: Sending unsolicited PMs to users inviting them to visit a sketchy site.
-
This is either you visiting a weird URL or your browser overriding the site fonts, which breaks the icons
-
We currently have no plans to block Russian users from the site.
-
Can you not look at the mounted ISO and right-click it to "Eject" it?

The test file uses a URL direct to the CDN. The help page is referring to the logic for mod downloads from the site. When you download a mod it routes you to the file based on your membership status.

Sorry, you're right, I read "CA" as California rather than Canada. If you're still having problems, it might be worth trying a VPN? We are aware of some ISPs doing what is called "Packet shaping" which ends up degrading your download speed, so there may be some of that going on.
-
Looks like you have a bad connection to the default server for your location (LA). You should change your preference to CDN for best performance. It seems like there may be some kind of bottleneck between your PC and our older servers (possibly an ISP/routing issue), but the "CDN" option will connect you to the Premium-only servers.

I'm going to lock this topic now as it will only descend into further conflict. While the OP says it's not targeted at Neanka, they are one of only two mod authors which decided to hide high profile mods in reaction to the war in Ukraine (both are visible again), so it's pretty unfair to single those users out in this way. Whenever something like this happens we will always try to engage with the mod author and find a better solution where possible.

Perhaps you could try installing Vortex and downloading directly into that? (If the game supports it)
-
IDM sounds like it might be a download manager extension, that's probably the source of your problem. Try turning that off or use a browser which doesn't support it?
-
If it works on your phone browser when using the same WiFi the problem is likely to be on the PC. If it works on the phone browser only via the cellular network then the problem may be with your PC/Router/ISP. Some people set up firewalls on their routers that can block traffic such as downloads from our site.
-
If the download isn't starting there are 2 common causes: You are clicking the "Vortex" or "Mod Manager Download" buttons without Vortex installed and configured to handle downloads. You have browser addons or privacy settings breaking the page, see this help article: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues If the download speed is less than expected, please see this topic: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5322760-reporting-download-problems/ I'm afraid simply pasting a trace log isn't particularly helpful in allowing me to understand what is actually going wrong for you.

You can block tags, authors or adult content as discussed here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/39-how-do-i-hide-or-show-adult-or-other-specific-content Other filters can't be saved at the moment I'm afraid.

If you don't log in for 6 months you need to verify your email address to check that your account has not been compromised.

Thanks for the info. Based on those tests from other servers, only LoversLab and ModDB are a fair comparison (Steam and YouTube are billion dollar, world-wide companies). Were you able to use a VPN, preferably one that is based somewhere else in the US or abroad? We don't have anything on our side limiting you so I'm not sure where the problem lies along the line.

Kotov9011 banned. Reason: Submitting a spammy and racist "suggestion" using the Vortex feedback system. (Note the bad word filter has used "black person" as a replacement to the original slur). "Suggestion - n!@#&£ trash black person trash black person trash ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss"

You're not wrong that the forums are a bit old. The problem is they are hard-coded into major parts of the website. We've been decoupling it piece by piece over the last few years (user service and membership system are the main changes you may have noticed).
-
It looks like your results are incomplete, however, if your speed is limited on all of our servers this is most likely to be an ISP or routing problem. Perhaps you could try with a VPN?

abyss69 banned. Reason: Harassing another site user over - of all things - your disapproval of the colours in their ReShade preset. Posting several trolling comments, uploading a passive-aggressive image after being blocked from commenting on the page and filing a false file report without providing any evidence to back up your claim. We've answered this at length in the FAQ, you can find it here: https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/FAQ#what-are-the-benefits-to-using-collections-for-freepremium-users That question and the one below it cover most points. People often overlook that there's a lot more to setting up a list of mods than just the downloads. Vortex automates the installation, imports conflict rules, imports load order metadata and applies settings tweaks (this varies from one game to the next, it depends what Vortex can do). Yes, it's more convenient for Premium users when downloading but outside of that the experience is the same.
