I mean the game loading files because it has ".pak" in the file name is pretty silly, but I'm not sure we can do anything about that one short of contacting the developers. I have a feeling you may have installed the same mods both manually and with Vortex which caused them to need to be backed up (so Vortex doesn't permanently overwrite files it isn't in control of)

Isn't the "Mods" directory empty by default? If you manage all your PAKs via Vortex then there's no reason for anything to be backed up.

Generally, to use assets from a mod, that would involve editing and/or redistributing them as part of your own file.

We're looking into the issue today, however as a temporary workaround some users have reported success in clearing their cookies for the site.

Based on the permissions posted on that page, you cannot use any of the original author's assets without permission. If you can't reach them, assume it's a "no". An alternative you could consider is making a patch that requires the original mod?

These entries will always remain in the download history because (as it the name implies) it's a history of everything you've downloaded. If you want to pick and choose which mods appear in a list I recommend using the tracking centre.

Can you provide links to any of the mods you are having the issue with? It sounds like you can probably fix this by logging out and back in or disabling browser addons.

It's kinda awesome that you mod so many games :) We did increase the total from 8 to 12 in the last redesign of the header. Perhaps, if it's highly requested, we might be able to increase it again next time we look at the header design.

At the moment you can only mark them all as read in bulk.
