Sorry to hear you're having problems. Please see the pinned troubleshooting guide. We need you to run a few tests and post the results before we can assist with this.

Considering the original post is from 2017 and we don't even use the same payment system as that long ago, it's safe to conclude your issue is not related. Please create a new thread providing more details on the issue. Most issues with payments are either caused by browser add-ons or some kind of problem between your bank and our payment processor.

Make sure you're not pressing the "Mod Manager download" or "Vortex" buttons without a mod manager installed to handle those links (if those buttons are enabled on the mod page)

This can only be caused by browser addons/security settings (unless every single user is having the issue). Basically something on your PC is blocking the payment widget, most often a privacy/security browser addon or adblocker. To be fair, as long as they don't have access to your email address you're pretty safe. As 1ae0bfb8 pointed out, your username is only 3 characters which means someone spamming random letters may accidentally stumble on it

There's also an annoying bug with the search where mods don't "reindex" when the tags change so if the author didn't apply the language tag until after they published it would take 24hrs to be blocked correctly. (As the site automatically reindexes everything once a day)

You do raise a good point, we are aware of the importance of game versioning and I am hoping to include it when we make future changes to the site.

I mean the game loading files because it has ".pak" in the file name is pretty silly, but I'm not sure we can do anything about that one short of contacting the developers. I have a feeling you may have installed the same mods both manually and with Vortex which caused them to need to be backed up (so Vortex doesn't permanently overwrite files it isn't in control of)

Isn't the "Mods" directory empty by default? If you manage all your PAKs via Vortex then there's no reason for anything to be backed up.
