Have you tried disabling any browser addons? The download link is delivered via JavaScript when you click on the button so blocking scripts could cause your issue.

Have you also tried setting your default download location to CDN?

As far as we know the problem was fixed on 6th March, if you're still having problems you'll need to provide more info. I suspect it may be your browser addons though if you're the only one reporting it.

Hey Roelou, Sorry to hear about this. First and foremost, I ask that you delete your second account. It is against our Terms of Service to operate multiple accounts. https://help.nexusmods.com/article/25-how-do-i-delete-my-account Do you know which server you have set in your preferences? It looks like Premium CDN is the best one for you. This is "CDN" in your preferences. If you've already tried changing server, perhaps you could see if using a VPN makes any difference? Is it just larger downloads that fail, or smaller ones too?

Sorry to hear you're having issues. As the speed seems to be consistently bad with all our servers (which are in completely different countries or on separate ISPs) it seems to problem is potentially bad routing from your location or an ISP issue. Can you try a VPN and see if that helps? We recently introduced our Premium CDN and that seemed to have solved at lot of the download problems in Oceania and Asia. I think your report is the first since then to include slow speeds from there too.

"The resource has been blocked." May refer to an ad blocker or other browser addon? Although if you're using a Mozilla browser it seems those are having problems with some jQuery code across the site at the moment. "About me" can be changed here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp (it's a button about halfway down the page)

There's been something wrong with adding images to your forum signature for a long time now. We're not really sure where in the IPBoard spaghetti code we need to look to fix it. You might want to put it on your "About me" page instead? That way it's visible on both the site and forum

From what we can tell some kind of update to either browsers or your security apps has made it so jQuery is being blocked on our site. I've not been able to replicate it but it seems to happen mostly in Mozilla browsers.

Sorry about the delay. I have reviewed it but I was struggling to find suitable artwork to use for FFXI and got sidetracked. I'll have another look now, but if you have any suggestions they ideally need to be the same shape as our other game times and not feature any text.

If you're clicking the "Vortex" or "Mod Manager Download" buttons, make sure you have a mod manager installed and configured to catch these links. If you are downloading manually, it's very likely to be something in your setup. We have a help page with the most common causes here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues Failing that, can you open dev tools in your browser (if you know how) and click for any console errors when you click the button.

I did some looking into it, and while we do have guest payments turned on, some countries block guest payments.

Hey VW, There's not really anything to worry about here. MalwareBytes is known for being a bit over-protective. It often blocks mod pages that include images (not hosted on our site) in the description with broken link, or if the image server doesn't use SSL. If you can include the links to the pages I can take a better look at them for you.

I've not heard any other reports of this, and we haven't changed the mod page image gallery in a long time now. I suspect browser addons or privacy settings are the culprit here.

Vortex will use whatever connection your PC is currently on. If the download doesn't even start in Vortex, see: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Downloading_from_Nexus_Mods_with_Vortex If it's timing out in Vortex that may just be an issue with the connection quality. Browsers are a little more forgiving of things like packet loss.
