From what we can tell some kind of update to either browsers or your security apps has made it so jQuery is being blocked on our site. I've not been able to replicate it but it seems to happen mostly in Mozilla browsers.

Sorry about the delay. I have reviewed it but I was struggling to find suitable artwork to use for FFXI and got sidetracked. I'll have another look now, but if you have any suggestions they ideally need to be the same shape as our other game times and not feature any text.

If you're clicking the "Vortex" or "Mod Manager Download" buttons, make sure you have a mod manager installed and configured to catch these links. If you are downloading manually, it's very likely to be something in your setup. We have a help page with the most common causes here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues Failing that, can you open dev tools in your browser (if you know how) and click for any console errors when you click the button.

I did some looking into it, and while we do have guest payments turned on, some countries block guest payments.

Hey VW, There's not really anything to worry about here. MalwareBytes is known for being a bit over-protective. It often blocks mod pages that include images (not hosted on our site) in the description with broken link, or if the image server doesn't use SSL. If you can include the links to the pages I can take a better look at them for you.

I've not heard any other reports of this, and we haven't changed the mod page image gallery in a long time now. I suspect browser addons or privacy settings are the culprit here.

Vortex will use whatever connection your PC is currently on. If the download doesn't even start in Vortex, see: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Downloading_from_Nexus_Mods_with_Vortex If it's timing out in Vortex that may just be an issue with the connection quality. Browsers are a little more forgiving of things like packet loss.

1ae0bfb8 is correct. We're aware of this issue (and how annoying it is), but the devs are still trying to track down the exact cause. Don't worry, I've been hassling them about it since it started happening :)

You can add your own links to the "Mirrors" section. This is where we normally recommend you put links to places like GitHub. It's not a bad idea, but it may not apply to all types of mod.

If it's happening every single page load you may have browser addons that are making it worse. For me (with no addons) it's 1 in 100 page loads. Still annoying but definitely not that bad.

It's possible the mods do not have to appropriate tags. Without some examples I can't say for sure though.

The devs are aware of the issue. It's definitely intermittent. The page load timer at the bottom of the page can be anything between 2-30 seconds for me right now.
