  1. From what we've heard, it doesn't just steal their Nexus Mods account. It compromises their social media, crypto wallets, and other accounts too. Depending on how exactly they're stealing this data there may not be much an affected user can do other than change all their passwords and turn on 2FA where available.
  2. You wouldn't lose posting access. It just won't let you submit the specific post where the text is not accepted by CloudFlare.
  3. @Hundsfott are you able to try again? I believe we've got a fix out for this!
  4. I can replicate this issue and have raised it with the team.
  5. I'm not sure we can fix it from our side. Can you try removing some of the colours from the formatting and see if it saves then?
  6. We've identified an issue with the Linux-native version of Stardew Valley when installed via Heroic. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/NexusMods.App/issues/2401
  7. This release includes styling for the Load Order view, the ability to install and remove collections for all users and several improvements to the analytics we collect that will help inform our design decisions. Load Order Styling We've given the load order page for Cyberpunk 2077 REDmods a facelift and it's now much closer to the designs we're working towards. You can re-order entries with the up and down arrows (no drag and drop yet!) and see which REDmods have been disabled in the Installed Mods view. You can also flip the load order using the table header to have the winning REDmod at the top of the list rather than the bottom. We'd love to hear what you think of this design! Collections - Basic User Flow Important: Any collections you have added to the app in version 0.7.0 or earlier should be removed as they may not install properly. The Collections experience in the app is starting to take shape! While it's still very much a work in progress, both free and Premium users can now download and install collections for all supported games. We've also fixed up downloading off-site files for Collections. When you add these files to the library, the Collection will now automatically mark them as installed (provided you pick the exact file the curator used!). Try it out by opening a new tab and selecting the "Collections (WIP)" page, then download a collection from the website. In our testing, the app is up to 25x faster than Vortex at installing collections (depending on your internet speed and hardware) - which is amazing! App Updates We've made it possible to update the app without completely removing all your mods and games. You can update from 0.7.0 to 0.7.1 and keep your mods, games and other settings. This means that if you want to be an early adopter, you can keep your mod list intact as we release new versions! Technical Changes Protontricks running via Flatpak is now supported (Linux). The (optional) analytics we collect from within the app have been improved to give us a better idea of how you use the app, with you having to tell us directly. Bugfixes Fixed an issue counting the mods a user has installed when sending analytics. Added a placeholder to the Games view when no games have been detected. When enabling the Xbox Game Pass support option in settings, the app now correctly prompts a restart. Fixed an issue where the first row of the Library/Installed Mods would sometimes be misaligned with the table headers (this was part of an Avalonia update). Known Issues Stardew Valley (Native Linux version) is not detected when installed via Heroic Launcher on Linux. The Windows version of the game can be used instead until this issue is fixed. When installing Collections that include bundled mods, it is not possible to fully download the collection due to a counting error. A fix for this is planned for the next release. Bundled mods included with collections do not appear in the UI but are still applied to your game. The success rating for collections is not showing the correct value. The game version is not checked when adding a collection meaning you can install outdated mods without being warned. The Library and Collections (WIP) pages are not filtered by game. The "Switch View" option does not persist in the Library/Installed Mods view. The "Load Order" heading toggle does not persist in the Load Order view.
  8. The thread is open if you have any questions. Of course, you are welcome to share your opinion, but we're not looking for feedback on the implementation as such. We're monitoring the changes to see if they cause problems or fail to have the desired effect.
  9. What are you basing this on? While there have been one or two mod author accounts affected (can't remember if they were verified or not), the vast majority of accounts we've had to ban for this have been users with no previous uploads. It makes some sense that casual users fall for these things more often than authors. As I mentioned in the OP, we've been analysing the patterns of activity and feel this is a good way to make continuing to share this malware much harder for them.
  10. This is a known bug related to your PayPal region. There is no fix for it planned at the moment, but we have recorded it internally.
  11. Hello everyone! As you may have read in the November update, we're working hard in the background to battle an increase in both spam and malicious mods being uploaded to the website. We've been looking into the patterns used by bad actors and how we can best combat them. One trend we've seen frequently is the uploader will disable comments and bugs in an attempt to hide any user feedback which is often warning others away from downloading the content. Similarly, these users will often archive several files on their page and block users from viewing archived files - this act "covers up" the various attempts they've made to evade our security scans. To further improve your safety in the community, we've changed the default permissions on mod pages to combat this. Starting today, any account that hasn't unlocked Verified Mod Author status will be unable to take the following actions: Disable the Posts section on mod pages. Lock comments on mod pages (Update: Added 23 Dec) Disable the Bugs section on mod pages. Hide the File Archive on mod pages. If the feature is not available to you, a message will appear above the section to edit this setting as shown below: All of these features will unlock automatically when the owner of the page reaches 1,000 Unique Downloads across all of their mods. We feel that by the time your account hits this milestone, we're confident that the content you're sharing is safe enough to allow these parts of the mod page to be turned off. I am not a verified mod author and I've already turned off comments. What will happen to my page? If your page is already using an alternative option for posts it will remain unchanged. However, you will only be able to change the option to the default when editing your mod. How do I become a "Verified Mod Author"? As part of our Mod Author Rewards scheme, you need to achieve 1,000 unique downloads across all of your mods to unlock the first milestone and become verified. I need to close the comments/bug reports on my mod page but I can't. What can I do? Please contact a moderator or Community Manager to discuss this issue. Our staff will be able to change this setting before you hit the threshold but this will only be handled on a case-by-case basis.
  12. Could you try disabling your firewall feature entirely (if possible) and see if you can log in? If it works, then Kaspersky is still blocking it in some form.
  13. If you can replicate this reliably we can take a look, but it's not something that should even be technically possible. If you click disable on "SkyUI", that sends a command to Vortex's backend to disable only "SkyUI".
  14. Unfortunately, this is a connection issue on your side and there's nothing we can do from our end. You need to ensure your PC is allowing Vortex to connection to all Nexus Mods domains. Which Firewall/AV software do you use? Have you tired outright disabling the Firewall feature for a moment?
  15. If you click the "Group" button on the category header you can achieve pretty much exactly what you're asking. If you don't like the site-given category you can also create your own.
  16. Hmm, I posted a comment testing this without formatting and it worked, so it seems to be something to do with the formatting of the text that it doesn't link.
  17. Can you put the content on something like pastebin or GitHub Gist so we can see exactly what you're doing? CloudFlare gets very antsy about certain words and phrases commonly used by malicious actors or users attempting to exploit the website (and we don't seem to have any good way to override it). Obviously you're not trying to do anything bad but CF thinks you are!
  18. You could also try adding the SKSE launcher for Enderal to Steam but if that doesn't work you might want to ask the mod developers for advice on why it isn't starting.

C3: Community Creations Con C3 is a virtual conference for charity created by a community collaborative of like-minded and passionate modders dedicated to expanding the worlds and universes of Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Starfield. From Construction Set to Creation Kit in all its forms, we bring together gamers and creators, streamers and modders to celebrate some creations of our own and help others create theirs. During this multi-day Twitch-based event we bring together notable names, teams and some very special guests for a host of unique content to support the charitable cause Make A Wish International: Modder/Mod Team Showcases – a peek behind the curtain at some of some of the most anticipated mods in development as well as small-scale mod projects covering a wide array of categories, from quests to cosmetics. Virtual Learning Classes – Keynote speakers break down the many forms of creation tools available to allow you to reinvent the game you love most, in the universe you love most. Planned and unplanned peer networking – encouraging collaboration across projects, bringing modders everywhere together to learn, to inspire and celebrate our work. Designed to be inclusive, diverse and supportive, C3 is open to all and welcoming to all. Whether you are new to modding, a seasoned pro, or just a passionate downloader who loves our work, we invite you to join us for this community networking event. Our Mission Since 2001, Bethesda Game Studios has created some of the most imaginative, rich and expansive worlds and universes in gaming. Then they did the most remarkable thing: they opened these worlds to us to recreate, expand, customize and tell stories of our own. Modding and the celebration of modding in the universes of Fallout, the Elder Scrolls and upcoming titles such as Starfield has, to date, been an often underrepresented aspect of the fandoms. Often operating on our own, modders and mod teams create in a state disconnected from one another and the gaming community at large. C3 was created to bring together the talents and teams of modders everywhere to develop community ties and relationships among mod authors. Dedicated to being open and inclusive to all, our goal is to drop the curtain on the modding scene, allowing more fluid collaboration amongst modders and visibility amongst gamers.
  20. The Community label means it's created and maintained by someone in the community, rather than the Nexus Mods team. You can contact the developer here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/110
  21. Can you provide an example of two conflicting mods and how you can tell the rules aren't being respected?
  22. I suspect you added them to your page as a team member in the "Permissions" section or they've tracked the mod.
  23. I think this discussion has run it's course. The OP has been answered.
