  1. If you've reinstalled Windows, that's basically the same as moving to a new PC. This page may help you work out what you need to do: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/wiki/MODDINGWIKI-Users-General-Moving-Vortex-to-a-new-PC
  2. You have a very, very old version of Vortex installed. Please update to the latest version and try again.
  3. This doesn't appear to be related to Vortex, please see this article for further help: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do
  4. I'm afraid we don't maintain this extension so can't really provide much help with it. The developers of the extension can be reached on their page here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/196
  5. Could you provide a screenshot of the error? You may need to verify your game files on Steam as something important may have been deleted during the update.
  6. That website seems to be fairly snake-oil-y. If any of that is true it's either for good reason or it's the ads that do it rather than the website itself. Unfortunately, if you use addons or privacy settings that break the website we can't really help with that. It's completely your choice but we only have the developer resource to focus on the default setups for the most popular browsers.
  7. Can you confirm if this is still happening? It may have been a temporary issue.
  8. This issue does appear to be reoccurring related to the work done on the site search last week. We're looking into it.
  9. This was a temporary issue related to a search system upgrade. Sorry about that!
  10. Seems like you got this sorted. If you need more help with this feel free to PM me or email [email protected]
  11. This was a temporary issue, sorry about that!
  12. This changed when we upgraded to the new version of Invision Community. The old forum was directly tied to the website. This was coming up for a year ago now. https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14891 Various things have changed around login on the back end since so it could be something specific affecting your setup in a different way.
  13. I've moved your posts to their own topic @ThisGuy9. You necroed a 9 year old thread so it's definitely not the same problem. Thread you posted in:
  14. This is not a bug, it's just how the service works. Each subdomain is considered the separate "app". The only ones that are synced together are nexusmods.com and next.nexusmods.com (and users.nexusmods.com) - anything else has a separate login session. If you want to improve consistency, delete all your cookies and log in from scratch.
  15. There are 3 common causes for this: If you're pressing the Vortex button but don't have Vortex installed it won't do anything. Please use the "Manual Download" button instead. If your download doesn't even start, this will most likely be caused by browser addons or privacy settings. We've got a guide to help you here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues If your download starts but times out or fails in some other way, that's quite likely a connection issue. Here's our help guide for that: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do If none of those solutions work, please let us know which browser you're using and provide a link to the page where you're trying to download a mod.
  16. Because your mods were hidden, they did not get included in July's DP report so unfortunately you won't get any for that period. It works similarly in that if you only opt your mod in on the last day of the month, it still counts all downloads for that month.
  17. This doesn't sound like something Vortex would cause. I'd personally recommend using something like "Space Sniffer" to visualise where the space on your drive is going. The only 4 places Vortex can add/remove files would be the game folders, the staging folder, the download folder or Vortex's AppData folder.
  18. Have you tried accepting the suggestion in the screenshot? Maybe, you're creating the rule the wrong way around.
  19. I'm not really sure what you're talking about here. You may have missed it, but Tannin hasn't worked here for a while now. Here's the news post that announced that. The issues you describe have not been raised by anyone else so I suggest you mean a new thread detailing what you're doing, what you expect to happen and what actually happens so we can try to help you.
  20. Regarding the July report, I've raised this every month but while a report is in the "Paying out" state it temporarily disappears from the UI. It's not ideal, but it comes back when the process is complete. On closer inspection, it wasn't that issue. I can see that you opted out of several of your mods on 17/18 July and did not opt them back in again until 1 August. The opt-out happens automatically when hiding/unhiding your mod pages. Donation Points reports work by taking a snapshot of all available, opted-in mods at 00:00 on the first day of the month and calculating DP from there. As your mods weren't available at this time, they were not counted in the report. Sadly, this just seems to have been bad timing for hiding/unhiding your pages.
  21. I've raised it but it's currently in the backlog so I can't give any estimates of when it'll get looked at. It may have to wait until we move mod pages to the new site which is a ways off yet.
  22. Thanks for getting back to me, there is indeed a bug where you cannot see your mod pages for pending games. I'll get that reported. As far as game approvals, those are usually handled a couple of times per week by @Happybara, I'll let him know you're waiting and it should get looked at soon!
  23. Caution: To update the app, you must completely uninstall the old version, including all mods. Learn More. This release includes further improvements to Baldur's Gate 3 support, updated UI styles and lots of bug fixes. Baldur's Gate 3 Improvements We are continuing to add features to support modding Baldur's Gate 3. In this update, we've focused on improving the Health Check diagnostics presented to the user and begun the back-end work to provide load ordering: Added a Health Check diagnostic for outdated dependencies. Added a Health Check diagnostic for invalid PAK files. Improved the missing dependencies diagnostic message. Additional metadata is being parsed from the PAK files. Added support for serialising and deserialising modsettings.lsx to support load ordering in a future update. Features Collections requiring non-Nexus Mods files that can be directly downloaded are now supported. Added the framework for a new Collection Download page which will show which mods are installed or missing from the library. Standardised all "Button" components used across the app. Added a new "Alerts" component to the app for dismiss-able notices. Technical Changes Migrated several backend functions from Nexus Mods API v1 to v2. Cleared out lots of unused code related to earlier prototypes of the My Mods and Library pages. Bug Fixes Starting Baldur's Gate 3 on GOG (Windows) will now open the Larian Launcher rather than defaulting to the Vulkan version of the game. Fixed a bug where Stardew Valley mods that used BOM characters in the manifest.json could not be read properly. Selecting multiple mods to delete with Shift + Click will now delete all selected mods. The badge next the the Library in the left menu will now properly decrease when items are deleted. Mods in a collection can now be correctly downloaded from hidden mod pages. Added missing tooltips to several buttons in the UI. Fixed the "Running..." text getting stuck on the Play button. Fixed an issue with the list-games CLI verb showing all games instead of the detected installations. The main window will now pop into focus when the user successfully logs in. Known Issues Installing a collection which includes mods where the user must browse an external website to obtain the file(s) will fail with no error message. This is not supported in the current build. Trying to install a collection as a non-Premium user will fail with no error message. This is not supported in the current build. The game version is not checked when adding a collection meaning you can install outdated mods without being warned. Once a collection is added to the app, it cannot be removed from the left menu. Collections allow users to modify the included mods but do not allow you to reset them to the original state. The first row of the My Mods or Library tables will sometimes be misaligned with the headers. Scrolling or adjusting any column width will correct this. The "Switch View" option does not persist in the Library/Installed Mods view.
  24. You should be able to see your mods for pending games by clicking "My Mods" from your profile drop-down or going here: https://www.nexusmods.com/users/myaccount?tab=files
