  1. Sounds like your "My Documents" folder is badly configured so Vortex couldn't find it.
  2. That's actually part of what I mean by "Community Champions" in the OP. Although the new board does also have a reputation system we could enable.
  3. If you're still getting signed out (especially when opening the app) - something on your PC is likely interfering with Vortex's ability to talk to our web servers. Check your Vortex log files for errors.
  4. We've spoken to the ad provider and this does not appear to be at all related to any of the adverts. This suggests that it's caused by something on your PC or in your browser. Potentially malware. You also have a lot of browser addons, so I would suggest you try disabling them (or use a different browser) to see if this still happens.
  5. This thread has descended into bickering. If you need help with Vortex please create a new thread describing your problem rather than just posting a rant.
  6. Thanks, we'll feed this back to our ad provider.
  7. Pretty sure that shows up when you have something installed incorrectly.
  8. Go to the games tab in Vortex and update the Starfield entry to point to the new location. As a general rule you should never move your games without doing so properly in the Steam UI.
  9. Thank you for the feedback. The reasoning is explained in this news post: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14163 We understand that this might be an inconvenience to some. We are, however, strongly convinced that these minimum requirements are to the benefit of the vast majority of our current and future users.
  10. The buttons are turned off now. Sorry for the confusion.
  11. The timeouts are most likely caused by a problem with your connection. You may need to consult your ISP.
  12. Thanks for the report. Moved to the "bad ads" forum as it seem likely to be an ad causing this weird behaviour.
  13. Go to the Games tab, find Starfield and change the location there. Did you move the game to D:\ properly in Steam's UI or did you cut and paste the folder? In the case of the later, Steam is still telling Vortex it's in the old location.
  14. You can't add an image for non-Nexus Mods sources. You could always recommend the author uploads it to Nexus Mods to allow rich metadata
  15. Update: As of 24/10/2023 this bug has been fixed. If you continue to experience any issues, please report them in this thread. Summary Since the new feature released, the ability to zoom in on images in the mod media gallery no longer works. Steps to reproduce View any mod page.Click the image to make it full screen.Use the "zoom" buttons in the top-right of the page.See the bug Expected Behaviour Zooming in on an image works Actual result Around 1/4 of the image is visible but the rest of the screen is black. Workaround None
  16. From the FAQ : https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/FAQ#why-do-i-as-a-free-user-have-to-go-to-each-mod-page-individually
  17. Seems like you created a second thread about the same problem. I'll lock this one. Please try and keep to one thread per issue. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/13367504-why-cant-i-get-starfield-mods-working-through-vortex/
  18. If those mods are installed and deployed properly, they should work. I'd recommend checking under "C:\Users\{YOUR USERNAME}\Documents\My Games\Starfield" and see if there's a "Data" folder in there. If there is, it's breaking any mods installed with Vortex. You should cut the entire data folder and paste it into the Starfield install folder (which should merge it with the existing data folder), then try again. Edit: Also make sure that the files from your mods are inside the "Data" folder included with the game.
  19. Fixed Summary Since the new feature released, there has been two main problems reported with the new blur option for adult content. Mods in the quick search will be blurred regardless of your preference. (The search that drops down as you start typing) Mods in the download history will be blurred regardless of your preference. This blur unintentionally applies to non-adult content too. Steps to reproduce n/a Expected Behaviour Images are blurred only when the user's preference requests it. Actual result Some images are blurred incorrectly regardless of preference. Workaround None
  20. Please see the pinned post in this forum. We need you to complete the download tests and provide the results before we can advise you.
  21. It's very likely that you have files at Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data which break your texture loading. Alternatively you need to move your mod staging folder to the same drive as the game and update your deployment method to hardlinks (both in the settings menu).
  22. If it only happens when you launch with SKSE64 then you need to check any mods that add SKSE plugins.
  23. Not sure why you chose to nerco an old thread for this but what you described simply cannot be caused by Vortex. If it wasn't even open it would have to be something else that messed up the load order.

  25. As your speed is slow from all of the different servers around the world this would imply a routing problem or an ISP fault. You can try using a VPN or reporting the fault to your ISP. It seems that swapping your default location to CDN or Amsterdam will get you the best performance for the moment.
